When seven pm rolled around the next evening, Jules was sat on her and Jess' blow up bed, except now it wasn't exactly 'blown-up'. That night he allowed the two to share his instead, and subsequently popped the blow up in the night.

But although it was mildly uncomfortable, she had her Walkman on playing rock music which she was almost falling asleep to - a habit her and Jess both had stemming from childhood.

She was pretty content just lying there, so close to sleep she could feel her eyes start to flutter closed when there was a bang from the other side of the room, and when she lifted her head she saw Luke storm into the room.

"Jules?!" He called, which she responded to right away. Hey, at least they were making improvements with the name thing.

"Yes, Luke?" Jules called, reluctantly sitting up and turning off the Walkman.

"Why aren't you dressed?! We're expected at Lorelai's in ten minutes!"

Looking down at her outfit, she realised she was wearing a black long sleeve t-shirt, with a bit of lace poking through underneath from her bra and some low rise jeans. Personally, looking at Luke's casual flannel shirt and warn jeans she didn't think this was going to be a big deal.

"What? You don't like my outfit?" Jules asked, sweeping a piece of hair behind her ear as she glanced down at it again.

"Can't you just, I don't know throw on a sweater! I want you to get on with Rory, she dresses pretty modestly. Oh God, Sookie and Jackson are gonna be there! Hurry up, let's go-" Cutting off his own ramblings, Luke looked around the apartment. "Wha- where's Jess?" Luke asked, exasperated.

Jules simply shrugged.

"For the love of-" Luke pinched the bridge of his nose tightly. "The one night I told him he has to be here! And where is he?" He imitated Jules' shrug. "I don't know, you don't know and he could be doing whatever and-"

"It's really that important to you that he comes?" Jules asked, folding her arms as Luke nodded desperately. With a roll of her eyes and snatching her Walkman and Skateboard up from the floor she sighed, "I'll go get him."

"I thought you said you didn't know where he was?" Luke asked, confused.

"Well I have a better chance at finding him then you do." Jules laughs as she pushed past him, sliding on her Walkman.

Once she left Luke's and got on her skateboard, she really didn't have a clue where to go, she barely knew the town. It was easy finding Jess in New York, he had about four places he would be. So when Jules needed him, it was easy to skate to him.

But in a new town, he could be anyway. She's just glad Stars Hollow wasn't as big as New York.

It took about ten minutes of skating to possible areas he could be before she found him.

He was sat on a small bridge, legs dangling over the edge as he flicked through a book. Jules slowly hopped off her skateboard, tucking it under her arm and turned off her Walkman as she headed over.

She got about halfway before he looked up, startled, then once he realised it was her calmed down and continued to read.

"You found me that quick, huh?" He asked, still not looking up as Jules lowered herself so she could be sat down beside him.

"Your very predictable, Jess Mariano." Jules smiled.

"So, what does Luke want?" Jess asked in a monotone voice.

"How do you know I don't just wanna spend time with my big brother?" Jules teased, before he knocked into her.

"What does he want."
