"But you said we were going somewhere else,"

YN whispered against Hoseok's ears, snuggling into him more as she was so nervous. She was sitting on the luxurious couch in the living room and Hoseok just informed her his mom was going to meet her. She didn't expect that and she thought she would be more prepared if he has told her before. She looked down at her attire and it was quite formal, making her sigh in relief.

"Just wanted to surprise you," Hoseok stuck his tongue out, making her poke his cheek. She never met her normally, either Hoseok would be fighting with her or the fight would be about to begin. The reason was always her, so this time it was making her more anxious than she was ever been in any exam hall. She pouted, looking at him. Once he showed his smile to her, she felt like her nervousness vanished into the air. She felt relieved and smiled back at him.

"I'm here, so you don't have to worry about anything. She just wanted to meet you. She is actually nice, you will see it. Moreover, how are you gonna face her after marriage?" Hoseok was whispering to YN and she was nodding at him. He was right, as long as he was next to her, she thought she could even face death.

That's when they heard footsteps towards them and she jerked looking at his mom in front of them. She jolted up, standing on her feet and Hoseok followed her. His mom still had her cold expression and YN crushed her fingers around Hoseok's arm. Her mom sat in front of them, crossing her leg. The queen of the house.

YN bowed at her respectfully and Hoseok asked her to sit next to him. She did but gave a small distance between them. "Did you drink something?" His mom spoke. YN blinked her eyes before shaking her head no. She asked one of the maids to bring three drinks of their choice. "I know, it must be awkward," she begins.

"Hobi usually is a stubborn kid and I never said no to him. But you were different. You ain't some things he usually orders on the internet. So, I had to think a lot before taking a decision on his life." His mom was saying and YN's eyes were dancing between them. She doesn't know where to look at. She just nodded her head at her words.

"But you seem more stubborn than him," she said, and her eyes landed on YN's finger. Her tattoo was so appealing. "It's okay, just tell me when your parents are ready to speak with me," She says and they were offered the drinks. "Sure, Mrs Jung," YN bowed at her and she slightly smiled at YN.

"And I heard you wanted to study more," His mom asked and YN quickly nodded. "Yeah, Mrs Jung. I want to work as well," she says and Hoseok nodded at his mom. "Sure, it's your choice anyway. It's your career,"

"Then you guys can carry on, I will take a leave," His mom added before standing up. YN bowed at her and smiled widely. It wasn't that bad. "Drop her home," She said to her son before walking away. "Sure, mom," he chuckled and turned to his girl. "My heart is here," YN whispered, pointing to her throat.

Hoseok loudly chuckled before dragging her outside. Getting inside the car, he drove her towards the place he actually mentioned before.

"What's with that face?" Hoseok questioned, turning at her. "I still can't believe what just happened, Hobi," She said and her eyes grew as she was speaking with him. He giggled at her "Really?"

"But now I felt somewhat at ease," YN smiled, making him entwine his fingers with hers. "Still," she breathed out heavily, "my parents," she pouted, staring at the man. "Don't worry about that," he said and he pecked the back of her hand.

Coming back to her house with the bouquet that Hoseok presented to her, she was welcomed by her parents in the living room. She smiled at them before running to her room. She whiffed at the flowers with a smile and she could hear her parents talking.

"What do we do about it?" her mom spoke and her husband sighed. "Let's leave it for now. She would get to know that he is not the right one for her," He said and hearing all of it, YN just shook her head no. She wouldn't do that and she would wait for her parents' approval as well.

Texting Hoseok a good night, she lay on the bed. But in an instant, she received a call from him. Raising the phone, she checked it was a video call. Chuckling to herself, she swiped into it, attending the call. "Hi, Hobi," she smiled and he was already smiling widely.

"Do you like it?" he asked. He was so overwhelmed by her presence day by day. "Of course, it smells like you though," she replied, blushing.

They talked all night.

"No, Hobi. I really need this camera for the project. I came with my classmates," YN said over the phone before looking around the shops. "I could've taken you there, babe. It's okay, you can have fun with your friends," Hoseok smiled. "Sure, I will send you the picture after buying it. See you," declining the call, she held her friend's hand, going inside and out of the shops one by one.

She was happily shopping with them and they were crossing the road. That was when she received a call, making her look at her phone. It was from Hoseok. She smiled to herself before picking it but that was not it.

She was hit by a car and lay on the road unconsciously while Hoseok was screaming from the other side.
