As the sunlight shines through the blinds on the window of the hotel room the delegation begins to wake. They are filled with curiosity about what marvels they will see today. However, they also know that they will see one of the leaders of this great nation. Saying they are also stressed would be an understatement. However, their thoughts are interrupted as there is a knock on the door. Rinsui gets up to open it.
Connor: Good morning, everyone, I do hope that we all slept well.
Yagou: I don't think I have ever slept better!
Connor: Glad to hear it. Please get ready, I will be waiting for all of you down in the lobby. Please don't take too long, we have a busy day ahead of us.
Rinsui: We will be down in the lobby as soon as possible.

Once they met up in the lobby everyone exchanged a few words. Afterwards, the delegation followed Connor back to the pad they had gotten off of the flying machine the day before. Once they arrived another was waiting for them. Unlike last time they got on with little to no hesitation and they were on their way. As they made their way through the city the delegation stared out their window at the marvel of a city, they were in. That is when one structure caught their eye.
Hanki: W-what i-is t-that!?!?
Yagou: H-how c-can one b-building r-reach s-so high into t-the h-heavens?!
Connor: Ah, that building you are looking at is the Elysium space elevator. It delivers most of the resources we import from other parts of the country and brings them down from the giant cargo vessels up in space. As a result, it's very important to this settlement's economy and really to any planet that has one. Furthermore, its defenses are nearly impenetrable. In fact, the only way they could be broken or dislodged was if we lost control of the space surrounding the planet. However, since the creation of the first space elevator on Earth in 2205 there has not been any issues.
Rinsui: Your, telling me that this structure goes all the way up into the heavens!?!?
Connor: Yes.
At this point, the delegation didn't know whether to be stunned or not. After all, they had seen from these people was this really much of an accomplishment? They were impressed; however, they didn't know what to say or how to say it. So, they just stayed silent and continued to look at the scenery go by.
