Zaire got into a green truck. Axle scooted in next to her so he was in the middle. I got the door seat and there was about just enough room for all of us. It smelled like my mate in here.

Zaire started the engine before very badly, driving us away.

She blushed in embarrassment, "Sorry. This is the first time I've driven this truck." She turned onto the main road before speeding up a bit. She continued, "And this truck is a piece of junk."

Axle said, "Hey, at least you have a car. I don't."

She snorted, "Oh yeah, because I have the money to buy a car." We both looked at her confused. She said, "This is Josie's. She usually drives Temperance instead of this thing. I don't even know why she still has it actually."

Her phone started ringing again. She pulled it out and handed it to Axle, "Answer that will you?"

He flipped it open and put it to his ear, "Hello?" A girl yelled before hanging up making Axle wide eyed in shock.

Zaire laughed, "Sorry, that was probably my sister, just call her back."

Axle pouted, "But she might break my ear drums."

Zaire rolled her eyes and said, "Then make quiet boy do it!" He shoved the phone to me. I shook my head at him and called the number.

A girl answered, "Zaire?"

I said, "This is her phone. She is driving."

She let out a relieved breath, "Put it on speaker so I can yell at her for giving me a damn heart attack!"

I shrugged and put it on speaker, "You're on." She started ranting making Zaire roll her eyes.

Zaire cut her off, "I'm on my way home now and I'm bringing someone I want you to meet."

The girl sounded curious, "Who?"

Zaire said, "Plug your ears." Neither of us did, just looking at her confused. She said, "Suit yourself. I found my mate." The girl on the other side of the phone squealed happily making both Axle and I cover our ears in pain. She said, "And you may have just made him go deaf. Good going."

The girl said, "I'm so happy for you, Zaire! Is he cute?"

Zaire blushed, "You'll see. Was there a reason you called?"

The girl said, "Oh yeah. What are you making for dinner?"

Zaire asked, "Why? What did you have in mind?"

She said, "Spaghetti."

Zaire's face brightened, "That's a good idea. I like spaghetti."

She said, "Awesome because I'm craving it!" Zaire and the girl laughed.

Zaire said, "I'm almost there. Is Josie home?"

The girl said, "Nope. She just left to go check out another motorcycle to fix up. Jamie suggested it after she broke a tree. It was quite amazing actually. She has quite a temper and is very strong. I think it'll be good for you to train with her."

Zaire rolled her eyes, "Thank you for that speech when all I asked was a yes or no question. I'll see you in a minute."

The girl said, "Bye." Then the stupid tone sounded and I flipped it shut, handing it back to Axle.

Axle asked, "What is her name again?"

Zaire said, "Bridget. She is really nice usually but since she is pregnant she has mood swings so consider this a warning. So, if she starts randomly crying when you're alone with her just walk away." He nodded in understanding. She pulled up in front of a big house, at least two stories and pretty. There was a little bit of decay and other things that needed fixed but all in all nice.
