"are you thinking straight?" taeyong asked as he stared at youngbin.
youngbin tsked, "are you mad you couldn't kidnap suho's sister while i could easily kidnap chanyeol's wife?"
taeyong's eyebrow twitched in annoyance before he rolled his eyes, responding, "cause unlike jisoo, she isn't trained. you picked the easiest lamb in the herd."
youngbin stood up abruptly, "something that you didn't think of did you?"
"are you both planning to kill yourselves?" hui asked, not bothering to look up as he looked through the files.
"as hilarious and even entertaining as that might be," chanmi mused. "i don't have time, so could you both make it quick."
inseong pulled on youngbin's wrist, pulling him down to the chair. both taeyong and youngbin stayed quiet as they looked at hui.
"well that was overly disappointing," hui taunted as he looked up. "i was expecting one of you to end up in the infirmary."
"are you going to talk or not?" inseong rebutted.
tsking, hui passed files to taeyong, youngbin and chanmi. "these are the files of that i could find from our rivals. our biggest competitor is exo, having been around for almost a decade now-"
"so have we," chanmi interrupted, annoyed.
hui hummed before looking at her, "you were a group of eight, unfortunately, your leader wasn't able to save three, am i correct? unlike exo, they've only lost three members, however, they're not dead, are they?"
chanmi clenched her hands into fists. "whatever."
"as i was saying, exo was able to form alliances with got7 in 2015 along with bts and red velvet. having a bigger headstart in populating in different cities in south korea and even internationally, such as china, north korea, and the usa," hui continued. "so i think our best plan is to acquire those places as well."
"who is to say we won't be discovered?" taeyong questioned.
hui smirked as he responded, "easy, we target areas that haven't committed loyalty to them. additionally, we have two new associates."
"who?" chanmi asked, curious.
youngbin whispered to inseong something to which inseong nodded before leaving. taeyong and chanmi glanced at each other before the door opened and in came inseong with a woman and a man.
"this is chanhyuk and suhyun, or akmu," inseong introduced. "they are trained assassins that will help us infiltrate information from the inside out."
"how exactly do you plan on making exo trust them?" chanmi questioned as she eyed the two kids.
"simple, big hit is rumored to have trained agents that are later recruited by bts, all we have to do is get them under their academy," youngbin explained.
"right, cause i doubt they won't do a background check," chanmi rolled her eyes.
"you'd be surprised," chanhyuk spoke abruptly. "we've been assassins since we turned fifteen, and from i know, we haven't been caught."
chanmi stayed quiet. the silence stood for a while before taeyong chuckled, "well, welcome."
