The Robredo's were out eating lunch after they went to church. They were talking about school and work, trying to catch up with everyones affair. When suddenly her phone got a notification.
*Ding*
She hastily looked for her phone, drawing all the attention to her.
Hi Lens, I'm sorry hindi ako nakapagpaalam. My flight ako papuntang province. I'll sort this out when I get home. I love you.
P.S. Don't think too much.

She smiled when she saw Risa's name on the screen.
"Ma, who's that?" Jillian queried.
Leni felt her cheeks reddened.
"Wala, may na-send lang si Rona." Dismissing Jillian.
"Namumula ka ma" Trisha arched her brows on me.
"It's nothing nga, kumain na nga kayo"
Aika looking at her questionable. She shrugs it off.

Monday came and she's back at the office. They were busy preparing for a meeting. Risa was not coming home till wednesday. She was with Jacob hence di siya masiyado nakakapag text, she demanded nothing kasi alam nyang wala naman siya sa lugar.
Bakit kaya natipuhan yon ni Risa, di naman gwapo eh. It was mundane feeling. Baka mabait siguro? Ewan. Focus Leni, focus.
Looking at her paper works on the table and let out a heavy sigh, she was interrupted by somebody knocking at the door. She saw Aica carrying a paperbag, mukhang pagkain. She felt na kay Risa yun galing. She always do this when they were together, Risa knew she always skip lunch when she is engrossed with her work.
"Maam, may nagpapabigay." Looking at me suspiciously.
"Salamat Aica, kanino daw galing?"
"Walang iniwan na pangalan maam"
"Sige lapag mo lang dyan"
"Kain na po kayo VP mukhang ayaw kayo magutom nung nagpapabigay" Aica smiled mischievously.
"Parang ewan ka Aica maglunch kana nga."
She chuckled and left, Aica was one of the OVP staff na nakaka alam about them. Siya din ang isa sa mga nagtatago sa kanila at some point. Aka ka konchaba palagi ni Risa sa mga pinangagawa niya.
She rummaged the contents of the bag. She saw food containers and it was Rodic's. On top of one of the containers was a note.
Wishing were eating our lunch together. I miss you so much, can't wait to see you. Here's your favorite! substitute muna instead of me, masarap din naman to like me. 😉

I looked sideways, checking if may nakabasa sa tabi ko only to realize nakalimutan ko na ako lang pala mag isa dito. I sighed. Hontiveros and her antics, ang landi landi. I put my documents sa side and started taking out the contents of the bag. May kakain namang naka ngiti.
Before she forgets, she took her phone and started typing.
L: "Salamat sa Rodic's Sen, P.S. mas masarap yung Rodic's. 😏

R: "Talaga ba Lens? Parang hindi naman yun yung sabi mo nung last time we did it. 🤔
I almost choked on my food dahil sa reply niya I was coughing repeatedly. Aica might have heard me and open the door forcefully. I snatched the noted quickly hoping na hindi na magtanong si Aica about the delivery.
