We were having our dinner somewhere in BGC, when Risa's phone rang. I looked at her when I saw the caller ID on her phone screen.
"Sagotin ko lang to." She smiled at me apologetically.
"Hello?"
"Mahal where are you?" I heard Jacob ask her.
"Kasama ko si VP, we're having dinner. A little catching up" giggling looking at me.
I looked at her with my eyebrows quirking up.
"Oh. I thought I can spend time with you tonight."
"Why?"
"Wala, I just thoug-" he was cut off by Risa.
"Magkasama naman tayo last weekend Jacob." She answered flatly, erasing the giddy smile she had a while ago. "Diba pinayagan na kita sa weekend sa province, na I thought we were gonna "RELAX" and it turns out parang political meeting nanaman pala." She added.
"Look, I'm sorry Ris about dun sa party. They were just excited you were there."
"You know what Jacob I don't have time for this, you are ruining my dinner. I'll drop the call."

Silence.
We ate our dinner with an upsetting mood. Risa was definitely angry, she barely touched her plate after the call. Mukhang dragon, kulang nalang may lumabas na usok sa ilong niya. Finally she looked at me, studying my facial expressions.
"What? " I asked.
Hmmm." She was furrowing her brows at me.
I put my hands in the air, waving the table napkin.
"Surrender nako ha, ayoko mapasahan ng galit mo."
"Sira!" She laughed.
"So, mukhang di ako makakapag-sleepover sa inyo. Baka hinihintay ka ni Jacob don." I smirked.
"No." Shaking her head and waving her hand at the same time. "You said yes already Lens, wala ng bawian yon and besides hindi yon pumupunta sa bahay." She huffed.
I laughed heartily tilting my head on one side.
"You look stunning today " she said nonchalantly, I reached for her hand and slapped her arm, hard.
"Araaay Leni" soothing her arm.
"Tumahimik ka nga dyan, andami mong sinasabi"
"Totoo naman kasi."
I huffed.

We were driving home, it was pleasantly quiet.
"Risa, san tayo pupunta? Hindi naman to papuntang bahay mo." Leni said with a lull tone head leaning on the car's window.
"Sa Batangas Lens, wala ka namang prior commitments tomorrow diba? Weekend naman eh." She pouted.
I nodded.
"Gusto mo ako naman magdrive Ris? mahaba ang biyahe. We can take turns. " I suggested.
"Later babe, mukhang antok ka eh tsaka malapit naman na." She said.
"I'll call Aika lang na di ako uuwi then it's my turn to drive na ha"
