"I'm home." Izuku called out, entering his apartment. Emerald eyes searched his home, his freckles features twisting in confusion. "Jax? Where are you?" He called out, dropping his things on the ground.

"Bedroom."

Midoriya followed the sound of his fiancé's voice, entering his bedroom where the black-haired man was lying in bed. A smile formed across Izuku's face as he approached his lover, sitting down next to him.

"Rough day? You look beat up." He chuckled, running a finger over the man's cheek. Black eyes made their way onto Izuku's face, eyebrows furrowing at the sight of the greenette's McDonald's uniform.

"You smell." He mumbled, earning an offended look from the small male.

"I know. It's my job." Izuku giggled, shrugging. He watched as Jax rolled over, stepping out of bed with a grumble.

"It's a shitty job with minimum wage. Find something that pays more, damn it. The bills are going to fall behind, at this rate." The man mumbled. Izuku frowned sadly, unsure of whether or not he should tell his lover what had been on his mind. He thought for a moment, deciding to speak up.

"You could always get a job, too. And maybe slow down on the beers and cigarettes... That would help with money management." The freckled man shrugged, watching as the black-haired man glared at him.

"I'm not getting a fucking job, that's your thing. And don't you fucking tell me what to do- Why don't you just stop buying paint, hm? Then, we'd save some money." The man spoke with a hint of annoyance in his voice before walking out the bedroom. Izuku frowned to the sound of his refrigerator door opening, the clinging of beer being heard not long after.

It didn't feel fair at all. He spent all day working extra shifts to come home to a negative partner. He had to struggle with bills while his fiancé kept spending money on illegal substances. It just seemed wrong, especially with the fact that Jax didn't even have a job, himself. All he ever did was stay at home and wait until Midoriya arrived, so he could spout shit at him.

"Jax." Izuku muttered, approaching the doorway. His eyes landed on his partner, who stood in the kitchen as he drank up a bottle of beer. "I don't think this is going to work any longer if we keep up these habits. I can barely manage to pay the bills right now, and I'd just appreciate a little help. Whether it's you, slowing down with smoking, or you get a job... Anything. I just need you to cut me a bit of slack."  He explained, seeing another irritated look in black eyes.

"Or what?" A raspy voice spoke. Izuku flinched, feeling his blood boil. He was really trying to be nice, right now. But Jax's attitude was making it hard to keep his cool. That's probably why he had a little outburst.

"I'll break up with you." He spat with a pout. A silence roamed before a beer bottle was slammed on the counter, Kinochu's footsteps resonating throughout the apartment. It didn't take long before Izuku's breath was stolen from him, feet dangling in the air was a hand tightened its grip around his neck.

"You can't break up with me, Izu. I need you here. What would happen to me? I'd be a dead man. Stop being so selfish, okay? Baby boy."

Izuku's eyes filled with tears as fear overtook him, seeing Jax's face only a few inches away from his. Kinochu had never acted this way, why was he doing this all of a sudden?

"Do you understand? Sweetheart? My little cutie? You know I love you, right?" The man's voice resonated again. Midoriya gagged, feeling his heartbeat against in his head. He could feel every circulation his blood was doing. As if his entire insides were about to explode. "Sweetie, you understand, hm?"
