"Wakie-wakie..."

Emerald eyes fluttered open, taking in the unfamiliar white ceiling above him. He took his time to take in his surroundings, slowly looking down to Katsuki's hand, wrapped around his.

"How are you feeling, baby?" Katsuki quietly spoke, knowing his boyfriend most likely had a headache. He watched as Izuku shrugged softly, brows furrowing in confusion as his lips parted.

"I didn't die?" He whispered, his voice cracking. Katsuki scoffed, pressing a kiss on his lover's hand. His mind wandered off to a few nights ago. A night you'd usually only see in movies, or true crime documentaries. But that night actually happened, in Katsuki's apartment.

"Help is on the way, sir." Katsuki nodded, hearing the same sentence for the past few minutes. He flinched to the sound of a loud thumping noise, somewhere in the hallway, followed by another thump and a series of footsteps. He couldn't hear Izuku or Jax's voice anymore, making him worry. He felt bad for sending his lover out there, to face such a threat. But Midoriya was the only thing they could use to buy time. Hopefully, things would work out.

Bakugou listened, hearing the footsteps leave towards the bathroom, across the hall. The blonde began shaking as he slipped out of the closet, still holding his phone to his ear as he shook his shirt, pieces of vomit landing to the ground. He walked towards the doorway, seeing the bathroom door closed. He took the chance to walk out, knowing damn well the intruder was still in his house. But he was too focused on his boyfriend's body, lying right there in front of him.

"Shit." The blonde muttered, dropping his phone to the ground as he crouched. He gently shook the greenette's shoulders, taking in his blue lips and pale face. Before he could do anything, a clicking noise was heard before a silhouette stood out into the hallways, exiting the bathroom. Katsuki looked over, his blurry vision struggling to focus on a black-haired man. That had to be Jax. Bakugou had never seen him in person before, nor had he ever seen a picture of him. But it had to be him.

"Hah, I knew it." The man scoffed, clutching onto the axe, which he had retrieved from the kitchen. Katsuki felt his heart drop, not knowing what to do. Izuku was still breathing, although his pulse was barely noticeable. All he had to do was make sure the greenette wouldn't take another blow. Or else, there's no telling whether he'll survive or not.

The blonde stood up straight, knowing there was nothing he could do to defend himself well against someone with a weapon like that. But that didn't mean he didn't try. Jax was quick to approach the two, bringing his axe over his shoulder with a blank look in his eyes. At this point, Kinochu didn't even seem human. He looked like the devil himself. Katsuki was quick to grab a random object, this being a piece of wood, which was lying next to broken glass. Without hesitation, he swung the piece directly towards the intruder in hopes to get a hit.
