The teacher, Miss Davis, sat at her desk and wrote stuff down on a paper. A noticed a group of girls at a particularly loud table, taking selfies and chatting. I couldn't help but notice how much makeup they were wearing.
Miss Davis clapped twice to get our attention. "The bell is about to ring. Put your paper you worked on today in the tray, i'll look over them tonight. Have a nice day!" she said. Sure enough, the bell rang just a second later. I placed my paper into the teal tray and checked my schedule, which said next was science. It was in room 2008. Most of the rooms in this hall were in the 20's, so I needed to go to the left hall?
"Do you need help?" someone asked, appearing next to me. "Actually, yes. Do you know where room 2008 is?" she nodded. "I'm headed there right now! Say, aren't you Kira? I'm Nova. Follow me!" she turns a corner to the science room. "We should sit together, since we know each other." "Yeah, I wouldn't want to get stuck with some random kid," I agreed and we sat down. Our teacher, who has a nametag that said Mr. Machalevi, had a huge white mustache. As more kids made their way to the class, we started to chat, when Mr. Machalevi started to speak.
"Hello, class, and welcome to science. This year, we will be discussing genes and DNA."

He did not just say that. He did not just say that! Of all things, genes and DNA? Well, it's not like i'll spill my secret. I'm good at keeping secrets, after all these years.
"We will be doing some dissections," he continued. This was met by several groans.
"It'll be fun!" he assured us. I looked over at Kira, and she didnt look thrilled either. She actually looked a bit confused, and leaned over to me."This is weird. I read the ciriculum! I didn't say anything about learning this. In fact it said we would study physics! This is not physics." she shook her head.
"As you may know, the circulum said we would learn about physics. That is simply a typo."
I didn't say anything, but I thought it was more than a typo.
