As the ship docked onto the small island, Finney was woken up by a knock on the door. His eyes slowly opened to reveal Vance leaning against the door frame. "You shouldn't sleep on your back," The teenager suggested recieving nothing more than a grunt from the tired boy who should've listened to the warning. "What do you want?" Finney muttered. "We're here." With that the winged boy shook himself awake and followed the pirate outside.

The ship had made had made it's way to a small island town that couldn't have held more than a hundred residents.

Finney furrowed his eyes at the taller blonde who watched back in confusion. "This is our safe place? A storm could knock the island out of place," Vance scoffed. "For someone who has never been out of the house you are extremely judgemental... look a close friend owns the tavern, okay?" Finney gave the boy a quick nod before following him out off of the ship where his crewmates were wondering around.

Finney made his way over to Billy who was walking with Griffin, the two hadn't had a formal conversation or introduction yet so Finney wanted to give it a try. "Billy, right?–" The winged teenager began. "–my names Finney," The brunette extended his arm out hoping to initiate a hand shake which Billy ignored. That was 0-2 on the handshake front—Finney cursed himself for trying to do it again.

"I'm Billy–" The blonde reponded. "–Vance talks a lot about you," Finney chuckled. "That's the second time I've heard that," He smiled. As the two started talking a bit more Vance, who they were all following, stopped in front of a tavern which was when Billy found himself at the front of the pack as he opened the door. The group piled in.

The tavern was pretty packed though it seemed as though every resident stopped what they were doing to look at Finney as he made his way to the bar where an older woman resided. Her face lit up as she spotted Billy.

"Hey mom, me and my friends need help," Billy explained. The winged boy glanced at Vance. "His mom owns the bar?" He asked in a whisper. Vance nodded and it started making a bit more since. Finney flashed the woman a soft grin as she graciously led the group upstairs where a few rooms sat vacant, each room had two beds.

Finney eyed Robin as he was dead set on bunking with the boy, he seemed cool and the winged boy wanted to learn more about him. As Finney worked up the courage to head over there Vance quite literally grabbed the collar of his shirt like a lion cub and pulled Finney into a room with him. "Ow!" He frowned, glaring at his friend who ignored him.

The teen sat on one of the beds and took a few minutes to look around before opening his mouth once again. "Hey do you have clothes I can change into? I've been wearing these for a few days now," Vance clicked his tongue before answering. "I'll ask Billy, i'm sure his clothes will fit you," Finney smiled as Vance left the room.

Finney rinsed the soap from his hair as he just finished washing up. He then changed into the clean clothes Vance had gotten for him, he had cut slits in the back of the shirt for his wings to fit through—it was makeshift for sure but it worked well enough.

As soon as the winged boy finished up he heard a knock on the door. "Are you done?" Vance's muffled yell filled the room. Finney opened the door and stepped out.

The sound of music and people dancing and cheering could be heard from downstairs. The brunette found himself at the top of the steps looking down with curiousity. "We should go down there," He suggested. Vance shook his head at the idea.

"We have to keep a low profile–"

"How many times must I repeat myself—I am not a child, you don't have to hold my hand every step of the way, alright? I'm going down there, if you want to you could join me otherwise goodnight," Before Vance could protest more Finney made his way down the stairs. The pirate scoffed before following the younger boy into the crowds of people.
