A young girl is running for her life through the forest on a cold dark night, " Somebody Help!" She screamed, As she turned to look behind her, the monster chasing her was getting closer. All she could see was glowing red eyes, all she heard was the whooshing sound of the monster moving around her. The monster could hear her heartbeat going faster and faster. The girl suddenly trips over a branch and cuts her leg, the smell of fresh blood made the monster hungrier and extremely desperate to catch his prey, the monster followed the strong metallic smell, the girl sobs trying to get up and continue running. She watched behind her as she ran, she suddenly stops dead in her tracks when she bumps into something blocking her path, she slowly turns her head and looks forward. Her eyes grow wide as she hears a very scary angry hissing sound , she lets out a blood curdling scream and then within a matter of seconds the screaming stopped and went back to silence as the town of Hawkins slept soundly .
" Breaking News tonight another Hawkins Teen Ager is missing 18 year old Jessica Powers has been missing since Tuesday night, her parents told police she was going to walk to her friends house just blocks from her home, the parents reported her missing after contacting the friends mother the next morning who said she never showed up to their house. Jessica is 5'2 " Sheriff Hopper turns off the television, he burries his face in his hands, Jessica is 8th victim to go missing in 1 week and the Hawkins police were at a dead end. They had no leads, no evidence, nothing to help them solve this case and it was only about to get worse.
As the weeks went on more and more citizens of Hawkins began disappearing, the town feared they had a serial killer on their hands . Who was going to be next ? A teacher, a nurse, an elderly person? All the citizens of Hawkins could do is hope the police catch this monster before he strikes again.
Deep down in the depths of another dimension, is a place that housed an evil ruler and his creatures, a place that is filled with death and despaired souls, a place that a monster named Vecna called home. Vecna had a plan, to wipe out the human race by building an army of creatures stronger then any bullet or bomb, after being badly injured in a battle with Nora and the gang that very same battle that claimed the life of Nora's true love, Vecna knew eleven would be watching his every move, He needed a right hand man, someone stronger and faster then him, someone easy to manipulate, someone El would never see coming, a Solider who can fight his battles for him. Vecna smiled maniacally as his newly created creature bows before him " Your doing very well my new friend." Vecna said . Vecna discovered his new "friend's" body 1 year ago, He couldn't hear a heart beat, he just stared at the lifeless corpse of what was once a young high school boy who had dreams, he had friends that loved him, he fell in love with a girl that he would do anything for a girl he was planning on marrying one day , he had a love for music and dnd, all that now washed away as his corpse bled out from bat bites that torn into his flesh. Vecna used his powers to resurrect the boy into whatever creature he wanted. He trained this creature to be evil and shed carnage all across the town of Hawkins. Vecna hovers over his new creation " Now Rise Kas. It's almost time once the sun sets and the moon takes the suns place, you will be free to roam the human world, you need your strength if your going to fight along side me. Now make your way to the portal and wait for my signal." Kas bows his head and immediately makes his way to a portal from the upside down to the human world.
As Kas entered into the human world, he could smell the blood running through every citizens veins, he could hear their heart beats and calm breaths as they slept,he could feel the vibrations of all the animals running through the forest, Kas glances into the night sky, a part of him felt like his body was fighting the evil inside of him like deep down there was good inside of him, like there was another voice in his head telling him this was wrong and that he wasn't a monster , but the animal inside of him always over came his doubts . Vecnas voice echoed in Kas's head " It's time. Make them suffer the way they made you suffer. Show them what a real murderer can do. Show them no mercy. Vecnas power over Kas was overwhelming like gravity pulling together two magnets. " Kas's eyes began to glow , he hissed out loud and made his way through the forest looking for his next victim.
The next morning two teenagers are walking in the forest , they had a casual conversation about school, how excited they were to move out their parents house, what they wanted to do when they graduated, it started out as a normal day for them until one of the teens noticed something on the ground between the trees. " do you see that?" The teen asked his friend. " where?" " right there between the trees." The curious teens run straight for the mysterious object. As they inched closer they realized it wasn't a object at all, it was part of a body, The body was missing arms and legs, the teens immediately ran to call the police. Once they arrived they were flabbergasted at what they saw. " what have we got?" Sheriff hopper asked " female 20 years old, her body was completely drained of her blood, her arms and legs we found a few feet from the rest of her body also completely drained of blood, she has multiple lacerations on her face and back, some of her flesh torn off the bone. ." Hopper couldn't believe what he was hearing who could kill someone so brutally? " there's something else you should see." The detective bends down near the body " you see those ?" Hopper examines the body. " yeah they look like bites." " not just any kind of bites those bites are in the shape of fangs, like a snake." " anything from the corner?" " she's on her way." " do we have an ID?" Hooper asked " Not yet as of now she's a Jane Doe until we can get the body to the lab for DNA testing." Hopper wouldn't show it be he was scared how could he serve and protect when he didn't know what exactly he was protecting the town from? There was only one person who might be able to answer that question.
As dusk fell over Hawkins and the moon lit the night sky, Kas was on the hunt for blood he hid behind the trees and stalked the home his next victim.
Eleven is awoken by a loud crash, she jumps out of bed, she tip toed through her pitch black house the only light that could seen was a pair of red glowing eyes behind eleven. Once she noticed her house was clear and convinced herself everything was okay, she feels a very strong force throw her across the room. She tries to fight back but it's too dark, she suddenly feels a hand wrap around her throat and push her against the wall, El squinted her eyes trying to see the face of her attacker, her eyes adjust as the moonlight coming from the window next to her highlights the face of a monster, his fangs razor sharp, his fingernails inches from Piercing eleven's neck. " Eddie?" Eleven chokes out Kas looks deep into Elevens eyes he sees a flashes of his life before his death , Kas immediately drops El and teleports into darkness of the forest.
