Nora starts shooting arrows at the demogorgan's as they sprint towards the trailer she takes one down then two then three , as she fought protecting the outside of the trailer Steve and Dustin focus on bats, it was pure chaos as the gang fought for there lives everyone shouting orders at each other, creatures growling and screeching, El felt like she was watching it all in slow motion, At first the gang was winning, that was until Nora started to hear Kas yelling in pain, still in her fighting stance she takes her eyes off of the monsters and turns her head towards Kas, a worried look on her face before she can take a second to check on him a strong force picks her up off the ground and throws her down right in the middle of the remaining. demogorgan. " Nora !" Steve screamed " you guys go I'll stay with Kas !" El shouts " go!" As the gang pile outside El grabs Kas's hand and closes her eyes, she concentrated hard as she searched inside of Kas's mind, once inside she noticed that his mind was now dark no beautiful scenery of the lake or the calm hallows of the window, just blank and empty echos of her calls for Eddie. " Eddie?!" " I'm right here kid." Eddie says a scared look on his face " Eddie we're out of time, I can try and help you get back to your body another way. " El says " there is no other way El until the curse is broken I'm stuck inside here. I've practically tried ripping my way through whatever bullshit Vecna throws at me and somehow he wins every time." Eddie began to get emotional. " I haven't felt a human touch in what feels like forever, I don't even remember the sound of my own uncles voice anymore. It's hopeless El. He's too strong, he's going to kill all of you one by one. " Eddie says as he wipes the tears from his eyes. " Oh Eddie." El says in a hushed tone " You have to back go kid, you have to help them especially my little sheep, she's a fighter especially when she's fighting for someone or something she loves she becomes unstoppable and stubborn for the most part." " Eddie I can help you get out this I can help you find your way back, but we have to do it now before it's too late. " El says Eddie looks at El confused.
The gang all stopped in there tracks as they stared in fear at what was right in front of them, it was Vecna but something about him was different something about him seemed more terrifying. It could of been the creepy devilish smile on his face, or maybe it was the way he slightly tilted his head to the side as he got closer and closer to them. No it was his eyes. They dripped of blood just like El's when she used too much power, but somehow he was still standing. One by one they tried stopping Vecna. Steve raised his bat ready to strike but Vecna grabbed him by this throat and threw him like a football being thrown across the field, he did the same to Dustin, Nancy, Robin, finally Vecna found his intended target for the moment.
Standing just a few feet away was Nora, 2 daggers in her hand and her cross bow on her back, they both take steps towards each other until they are face to face. " I'm not afraid of you, not anymore you have nothing, you force people to forget the things that make them happy because you had nothing that made YOU happy. Instead you turned into the very person who tortured you in that lab, you turned into a power hungry monster who feeds off of fear and anger and hate , Eddie was my happiness, and you took him away from me but then you created Kas, and he's just like Eddie, even as a vampire, but do you know what's going to make me even happier? Driving this knife right through that hole were your heart is supposed to be. " Nora says as she lunged towards Vecna and begins fighting him.
Both El and Eddie stumble as the ground starts to shake beneath them " Eddie go it's time! " " Go!" Eddie starts running faster and faster towards the mumbled voices of his friends. This was finally his chance to escape with Vecna being distracted by Nora, El tried opening a portal for Eddie he could hear the mumbled screams of his friends as they watched Nora fight Vecna. Nora was going strong dodging everything Vecna threw at her, she even got a few cuts on Vecna across his face and chest. But the angrier Vecna became the stronger he became, he finally was able to grab Nora by her throat, she tried breaking free but Vecna was using too much force, she coughed and tried to breathe. " put her down!" Yelled a voice coming out of the trailer. Vecna squinted his eyes as figure came into his view. It was Kas, his energy had returned to him, he held his spear in his hand and a spiked shield in another. " Put.Her.Down." Kas said again something in his voice sounded familiar it sounded a bit like Eddie's original voice. Even Vecna noticed the difference in Kas, Vecna floats higher and higher until he is hovering over Kas. " You want your filthy human? Come and get her!" Vecna shouts as he lets go of Nora, Kas drops his weapons and jumps with all of his strength to catch Nora in his arms, he catches her bridal style and lands on his feet. Nora looked into Kas's eyes and for a split second she felt like she was looking into Eddie's eyes. " Hi." Kas says with a wide smile Nora was frozen " oh my god, he used to smile at me like that." She though to herself, she smiles back and says " Hi." Kas sets her down and focused his attention back on Vecna who was floating back down to the ground. As Kas and Vecna start fighting the rest of the gang slowly gather together and watch Kas, he was like a super hero, moving from left and right very fast, picking up heavy objects a throwing them, biting into Vecnas flesh with his razor sharp fangs, digging his claws into Vecnas back as deep as they can go. But as always Vecna eventually comes back twice as strong and soon he begins to over power Kas. " that's it I'm going in." Nora says " Nora No Kas can't even beat him and he's a vampire, he's too strong." Steve says " I don't care I'm not going to lose him again. " Nora takes a step forward before she feels a tug on her arm she turns and sees El behind her . " No." El says " No? El what are you talking about he's going to kill him!" Nora shouts " Nora do you remember what I told you? Do you remember the name of the poem you wrote? The one that Eddie loved so much?" She asked " El we don't have time for that right now!" Nora shouts " Nora listen! If you wanted to stop Vecna and break the curse then you will listen to me! Go back to the trailer and play your's and Eddie's song." El says " what?Nora asked confused " just go!" El says Nora turns to Kas she watched in horror as Vecna uses his power to hurt Kas. Nora runs to the trailer practically kicking the door down, she sprints down the hall to Eddie's room. " okay sweetheart," she says staring at Eddie's guitar hanging up above the mirror " let's do it." She says as she throws the strap around her neck. El joins Kas in the fight keeping Vecna distracted. Kas now bleeding from his face and chest he stumbles as he tries to stay on his feet and face Vecna. " and now Solider your time has come to an end." Vecna says as his clawed hand raised over Kas, Kas shrieks in pain and falls to the ground, It was now El's turn to fight Vecna alone. " do you guys hear that?" Dustin asked " yeah it sounds like music." Nancy says Nora began singing " there will come a Solider who carries a mighty sword he will tear your city down oh lei oh lai oh lord." As she sang, Kas lay unconscious on the ground. A voice in his head said " Kas Remember who you are, remember your life, you are Eddie Munson 19 years old, dungeon master and metal head, you have a beautiful girlfriend and friends who love you." flashes of Kas's previous life played like a movie as the music got faster and louder Kas's memories also became faster. As the song ended El was using all of her strength to hold Vecna back, Kas comes from behind and stabs Vecna in the heart, as Vecna looked into Kas's one last time, they changed from red to brown and back to red. He knew the curse had been broken. Nora stabs Vecna right in the heart again. Nora and Kas nod at one another as El finished him off. Vecna screamed in pain as his body began turning into ash and fading away. " Time to go !" Steve says The upside down was slowly disintegrating under there feet. As they run back to the portal Nora is struck by a piece of falling debris and falls to the ground knocking her out cold.
She wakes up a few hours later in a hospital bed. She puts her hand to her head and groans " hey there sport." Steve says as he stood next to her with his arms folded " hey" Nora says groggily " what happened?" She asked "Well the truth is that as we were trying to get back to the portal and you got hit in the head by falling debris but if the doctor asks what happened you slipped and fell and hit your head. " Steve says Nora giggled " Steve I know I don't tell you this much but your the best big brother in the world. And I love you." " Nora says " I am pretty great aren't I?" Steve jokes. " I love you too. Oh and someone is here to see you. But you have to close your eyes." Steve says Nora tilts her head in confusion. " what? No I'm not closing my eyes." Nora argued. " just close them!" " ugh fine!" Nora hears the door open and Steve whisper and then she hears more footsteps. " okay open." Steve says as the gang all stand in front of her. " oh hey guys." She says they all wave " should we give her the real surprise?" Dustin asked " eh why not." Steve says " but you have to close your eyes again." Steve says Nora sighs and closes her eyes. " hold your hands out." Dustin says Nora does as shes told and holds out her hands she feels another set of hands slide into hers and intertwine with her fingers. " hi my little sheep." Said a very familiar voice. Nora's eyes shoot open she was no longer looking into those somber red eyes, she was looking into sparkling almond brown eyes. " Eddie?" Nora's voice cracked from holding back tears. Eddie smiles " it's really me I'm back." He says Nora throws her arms over him and holds him tightly she can't help but let out tears " I've missed you so much." She cries out. the rest of the gang stand around and smile at each other. Still holding Nora In a tight hug he looks at El and mouths the words " Thank You." She returns the smile and nods. The gang start hugging each other in some what of a celebration it was finally over.
