As Calliope left the music room, she realised that her former prediction had been correct. She was, indeed, lost. And retracing her steps had not helped in the slightest, as the music room, too, was lost to her.

She stopped in the middle of a chasmic hallway, putting her hands on her hips as she tried to find any identifying markers as to where the hell she was. Only one of the sconces was lit, offering her the faintest source of light. Something glinting in the abyss surrounding her piqued her interest.

Wandering closer, she noticed a small, golden speck on the marble wall. She swiped her hand across the surface and sighed at the realisation.

The catacombs doubled as a mausoleum. She glanced down at the name under her hand, trying to decipher the historical relevance of this grave. Sister Agostina, 1890 - 1964.

A small cross underneath her fingertip told her that she was amongst Catholic graves. So, this place hasn't always been a Satanic church. Interesting.

This information, however? Useless.

"What are you doing here?" Someone asked out of the darkness, their tone agitated.

Squinting through the darkness, Calliope realised that it was a ghoul. His hand was covering his eyes, even though there was no source of light... at all.

"Earth?"

"Yeah," he replied, sounding pained. "Why are you down here?"

"I can't find my way out," She told him, feeling quite pathetic.

"C'mon, hurry please," He ushered her out of the hall, only slowing his pace a few corridors later.

"What was that about?"

"That was...'Holy' ground. We don't go there."

She nodded in understanding. Obviously, she wanted to know more, but she had other questions. More pressing ones.

"Are you okay?"

"Of course, why wouldn't I be?" Earth sounded genuinely confused.

"I don't know, because I haven't gone to the greenhouse yet... with the whole deal thing..."

"I'm not an idiot," He chuckled. "I didn't specify a time slot. Neither did Omega."

"Oh... so only Sodo is in trouble?"

"Basically. His arrogance often gets them into these predicaments."

"Oh... Yes, I can see that happening."

Earth continued leading her to 'safety' in silence for a while before piping up again. "Omega's looking for you, you know."

"I know."

"Why are you avoiding him?"

I'm not explaining this again, I physically cannot.

"Just- reasons, I suppose."

"You should talk to him."

"I know, Earth, I know. I've just been busy." She grumbled, annoyed to be talking about this for the second time that day.

"Aren't we all?"

She narrowed her eyes at the green-eyed ghoul, who only seemed amused. "He's in the library, if you decide to go looking."

"Yeah, maybe I will. Thanks for walking me back."

"No problem. Don't go back there again, no one will find you."

"Then, why were you back there?"

"I was on my way to Papa Emeritus' chambers. I heard you talking to yourself." Earth replied, his voice ever so monotonous, which seemed to be a running theme with most of the ghouls. Maybe monotone was their way of sounding polite? She didn't know, and couldn't bring herself to care at this moment.
