20- The Cursed Twin I

Soul was still tied up and sleeping... I think anyways he must've been having a nightmare.

I waited to be alone with still sleeping Soul, then I put my hand on his head to see what he was dreaming about.

Advanta Black.

That was the first thing I saw, Then Rose, except she was Advantas puppet.

I shivered, Wow that is one dark dream.

I knew he wouldn't be able to wake up.

That Is very dangerous, If you can't wake up from the void you become part of the void.

So I did what I had to,

I descended into his dream.

I was just a mist really I couldn't quite merge fully into his dream, which probably was a good thing.

If I fully merged into his dream and I failed to wake him up, I would also become part of the void.

And with someone extremely powerful like me, Well I'll just say now the void does not need that much power.

I was in a battle no, but one could see me though, which was probably a good thing.

I still couldn't find Soul.

"You will never escape my grasp." Rose said

I could hear her voice inside my head.

I was like someone was taking a drill and jamming it into my skull.

I need to find Soul, and fast.

Out of the corner of my eye I caught part of a black wing.

There!

I ran over to where Soul was as fast as my dream form would let me.

"Soul!" I shouted knowing he would hear me.

Soul only looked around confused.

How could I be so stupid he- can't see me only hear my voice inside his head.

And with Advanta still in there, well it might be hard to hear me.

"Lily!" Soul cried

"Your petty friends can't help you here!" Advanta's skull-grinding voice said.

Soul winced,

"Lily where are you!" Soul screamed

"I couldn't fully merge into your dream- I'll explain more when you're awake, right now we have to focus on waking you up!" What I didn't say was "If you fail to wake up we'll both be trapped her together forever." I purposely left out the part out, people work best when they aren't under a lot of pressure.

"Wait, I-I'm dreaming?" Soul asked

"Yes!" I replied

"Then why can't I wake up!" He screamed

"Because you won't let go!" I said

"What do you mean won't let go, I-I don't understand Lily be more specific!" Soul replied

"I'll say this the easiest way I can- This is your dream where you can do whatever you want." I explained

"My dream," Soul mumbled

"Yeah this is my dream, And I can do whatever I want!" Soul explained

Yes, yes, yes he finally understands!

Then in one instant everything was gone, and I could finally fully merge into his dream.

"Thank you Lily, thank you!" Soul cried

"No problem, now why don't we get back to the tangible world before Axel or Amber realizes I'm gone." I said

"Sure, but one more thing." Soul said

"Sure, anything." I replied

"Why are you wearing that." Soul pointed to the dress I was wearing.

"I'm not trying to say it's ugly or anything I'm just curious because it reminds me of an old legend." Soul explained

Crap! Stupid, stupid, stupid my mother always warned me to take what-am-I-wearing-in-this-dream check, Otherwise people see me in my truest form...

"Soul," I sighed

"I am the cursed twin."

He stared at me.

"You've got to be kidding."
