"Are you sure? Their family-"

A woman in black waved the question off.

"No matter how much they try, there will always be those who want to rule."

She looked up at the moon, shining light on a dead world.

"The darkness has been defeated, but not forever."

"It will be back, stronger than before."

She smiled sadly.

"It will take it a thousand years, but it will return."

She turned around and laid her hand on the test tube containing it.

"They will be ready."

"You thought you could contain me, Lily Erindale," The Void hissed.

"But I will return. You're children will never be safe."

It smiled a cruel smile.

"One day, I will succeed. I will finish you."

"Momma! Momma!"

A girl with indigo blue hair was running at top speed, clutching something in her hands.

A woman in her late thirties stopped gardening and looked up.

"What is it, Lacy?" She asked.

The little girl extended her hands to show what she had.

"I found you!" She cried.

In her hands, she held a budding Lily flower.

The woman smiled and took the flower from her daughter.

"Yes you did, Lacy," She said and kissed her forehead.

"Now, why don't you try to find Liro and Lori? I'm sure your brothers will want to see what you found too."

Lacy smiled and nodded, then turned and ran in the direction she had come from.

The woman smiled, then froze when she heard footsteps behind her.

"Still gardening, Lily?"

She turned around to see her husband, a man dressed in a white kimono with a katana at his side. His dark purple hair ruffled in the breeze.

"You could help me, Gakupo," She said.

He smiled.

"Nah, I don't want to be full of dirt."

She looked up, exasperated.

"And why is that?" She asked.

He gave her a playful smile.

"The Pack is coming."

She dropped her digging shovel and ran into his arms.

"I can't believe I forgot!" She exclaimed.

"Get the kids! I have to change!"

Gakupo smiled and nodded.

"They're in the back yard, right?"

Lily noded.

"Yes. Now go on! Tell them their cousins are coming!"

He took off on the ground, while Lily unfurled her wings and flew towards the house.

Around an hour later, the entire pack had arrived, and the adults talked while the children laughed, giggled and gave chase.

Blaze was holding hands with Amber, and in her lap was a little girl and boy.

"Twins!" Lily exclaimed.

Amber smiled.

"Their names are Kai and Kim," She said.

Blaze scoffed.

"She got first pick," He muttered.

Amber whacked him on the top of the head.

"That's because you weren't there when I gave birth, idiot!" She yelled.

Rose burst out laughing.

She was sixteen now, and had was taking care of an orphan girl- Thorn.

Seth was still single, believe it or not, and wasn't interested in anyone.

Trace and Sora were engaged, and Soul and Sparrow already had their own blooming family- a little boy and girl.

"Their names are Crona and Maka," Soul said proudly.

"I named them after my friends at my home world."

There was a hint of sadness in his words, so Shadow did what he knew would cheer his friend up- Taunt him.

"I see that you might have liked a certain Maka," He teased.

Soul's face went red.

"N- no! Look, it was a long time ago!"

Everyone laughed.

Devil was sitting in a corner with Rin and Ed.

His head bolted up, and his eyes went black.

Rin unsheathed his sword, and Ed clapped his hands.

"Devil..." Ed warned.

Everyone was on edge, waiting to see what would happen.

The now posessed Devil laughed.

"I'm not here to fight," He said.

"I am here to warn."

"Yami ga modotte kimashita." He said.

Lily blinked.

"Yami ga modotte kimashita," He repeated.

He sighed.

He looked at their children, who were cowering behind their parents.

He looked straight at Lily.

"Your descendants and your descendants descendant's will forever fight the darkness."

"There is nowhere to run to."

There was a flash of light, and Devil fell to the ground muttering.

No one moved for a long time.

Then Breeze spoke up.

"Well, at least there isn't another prophecy."

She looked around, uncertain.

"Right?"

Amber shrugged, then looked around in horror.

"WHERE IS BLAZE?!"
