SEVERUS' POV
Everything happened so fast, the match only began, and my Sarah was flying impressively fast after the golden snitch. The fact that it had brought her to the almost pitch-black clouds made me nervous. The voice in the back of my mind screamed at me, that this is a bad sign. Something is very wrong. I waited for her to return any second now, but only Potter was seen escaping the clouds. In a hurry, I stand up from the bench looking for any sign of her. And then it happened. Her screams rang through the heavy rain making everyone frantically look up. Her body fell, and without thinking I cast a spell to ease the impact. I ran, pushing everyone out of my way until I was near her. She was unconscious, barely breathing. Unlike the rest of her still body, her hand was twitching. Carefully I took it in my hands and opened her stiff fingers. She did it. Sarah caught the golden snitch, therefore won the match. I know this will mean a lot to her, especially now that she is in this state because of it. I gave the snitch to Mrs. Hooch who announced the winning team, meanwhile, I carried fragile Sarah to the hospital wing.
"Is she going to be alright?" I asked Poppy, my eyes not leaving sleeping Sarah.
"It was a nasty fall, but thanks to you she will have no serious consequences. The broken ribs will heal after a while and so will the ankle. Thank Merlin that her head is intact." Poppy finished giving her bandages over her ankle, so I tugged her under the soft blanket.
"And when-"
"Sarah will wake up soon. No need to worry that much Severus. She is a strong and very stubborn girl. I can assure you she will be up and demanding to be released in no time." Poppy patted my shoulder and giggled left to other patients. I rolled my eyes but was happy to be with Sarah alone. I sat down on the chair next to her bed and took her cold hand into mine.
"Did you hear her? She said you are strong and stubborn. In a way, you would be pissed off by it, but also flattered. You need to wake up Sarah and tell me that you are going to be just fine. Until your voice assures me this, then I do not believe them. So please, listen for once and open your eyes..." Naive I believed that by a miracle she will open them. But no. She remains as she was. I sighed and kissed her hand before I place it under the blanket. I must find out what happened up there. Time to ask our celebrity, Mr. Potter.
SARAH' POV
I hear faint footsteps walking around. Voices that were to me unrecognizable and the never-ending rain. However, when I wanted to try to open my eyes there was nothing but black. Frantically I shook my head, begging Merlin to show me anything here. Because this pitch black is toying with my mind. In a second everything went quiet. There was nothing and nobody in here but me. Which should calm me down, yet it made my heart beat louder. Turning around, running away from my fears. Only to realize that I can't move. Low hissing echoing in this darkness made my skin crawl. And the more I felt scared the louder it got. Then in a beat of silence, a monstrous snake was looking right at me. I screamed and closed my eyes.
"It won't help." the dead voice said. And when I opened my eyes there was no longer a snake in front of me. No... There stood a young handsome man with chocolate hair and only the eyes reminded me of the snake.
"Who are you?" I asked him observing him while he is checking me out. Almost mockingly.
"Why should I answer you? After all, it's you who interrupted me." It's interesting how much different his voice is from the rest of him. His voice is just unsettling and dead.
"I beg your pardon? You were the one scaring innocent me here!" I argued.
"An intruder in my dreams is highly innocent." What did he just say? This is all a dream?
