WILD CARD originated on Wattpad, through the ONC (Open Novella Contest) in 2020. Upon writing it, I never knew an entire universe would develop around it, and that I'd fall in love with all the characters I created.
While it didn't go far in the competition, it left a sizeable hole in my heart when I wasn't continuing the story—so once finished with book one, I moved along to write book two, PAINTED LADY (now renamed CROSS SUIT), which then opened up wild possibilities for sequels.
I ended up removing the series & opting to self-publish it; but unfortunately, I couldn't seem to reach an audience, nor find my niche or my readers, no matter the kind reviews & enthusiastic readers I did find along the way.
The SUITS series is now composed of FIVE novellas*.
(*UPDATE: all five books will now be full-length novels)
I WOULD LIKE TO CAUTION ANYONE WHO READ WILD CARD in its original format: the series is more mature and a bit darker now (violence, open-door scenes, language, some mild triggers etc.). Chapters with hints of spice or full-blown sex-scenes will be indicated with a 🔥
