Mayas POV

It had been a day since mine and Carina's 'fight'. If you could even call it that. I don't even know what happened. She could literally be in Italy right now and I would have no idea. I didn't feel like going to the apartment right now so instead I went to Joe's bar. I had sat at the bar then ordered my drink when someone asked if the seat next to me. I would notice the accent anywhere.

"Hey"

"Hi, are you avoiding me? You haven't been home lately"

"Yea.. I wasn't sure if you wanted to see me after our last conversation. Also if you would even be at home if I went."

"Well please can you come back? I have something I need to show you."

"Sure."

I quickly drank the rest of my drink before we went and got into her car. When we arrived, she told me to go ahead while she got something from her car. As I went and un locked the door, I was met with roses and candles. Confused, I followed the trail, and it lead to the dining room, where there was a table full of mine and her favourite food.

"What is this?"

"Well I was thinking, about our conversation and I thought a lot. Then I spoke to some people and they made me realise that I shouldn't be scared of marriage. Sure my parents marriage was absolutely horrendous however that doesn't mean mine is destined to fail. Because I believe that you Maya Bishop are my end. I don't want a day to go by like the last because it was horrid and painful. My heart beats for you. And I love you so much. So Maya, will you marry me?"

"I- what? Yes of course. But are you sure? I don't want to force you into marriage."

"I am defiantly sure."

"Wow so we are actually doing this?"

"Yea I guess so."

I pulled her in for a passionate kiss and my world felt as if it was complete. My heart was so full and I didn't know I could love this much.

Who knew that my roommates sister, was my one true love.
