"You know, with all the time we've spent in New York touring, we've never actually spent time sightseeing. This is a nice change," Chris said happily, leaning on the railing of a skyscraper.
We decided we wanted a better view of the city, so we went to the nearest skyscraper. The view was beautiful.
Surprisingly, there were blue skies, but dew drops littered the streets and objects around us. We could just about see the ground, and we watched the people, who looked like little ants, rush around, all having their own lives to live.
The air was as fresh as could be, making this experience a whole lot more fun.
"Should we go get some food?" Ricky suggested
"Yeah! I know this fantastic Chinese restaurant down the street. Me and my girlfriend have been there a few times!" Ryan exclaimed, excited to feast upon some good food.
"Me and Val will catch up in a minute," Vinny called to them as they cascaded down into the stairwell.
"It's a gorgeous view, isn't it?" Vinny sighed, moving towards me and wrapping his arms around me.
"Yeah," I sighed, breathless, happy to be in his embrace again.
"I know we aren't dating or anything, so if my touch ever gets too much for you, please tell me." He mumbled into my shoulder.
"I will, you have my word. Besides," I said, taking his face in my hands, my black nails standing out on his pale skin, "I enjoy your touch; it makes me feel... loved." I smiled softly, wrapping my arms around his neck and putting my weight on him.
"You're special, you know that, right?" Vinny asked, sending me a toothy grin.
I just shook my head and looked into the distance. One of his hands hugged my waist, pulling me closer to his chest.
He placed his palm gently on my cheek, turned my face to face his own, and his face slowly inched towards mine.
We melted into each other in seconds, our lips a perfect match. It was as if we were dependent on it.
This kiss, felt like a kiss of awakening for the both of us.
I brought my hand up to his face, smoothing it slowly, smiling into the kiss, but he backed off and we just stared.
Nothing needed to be said, and we just stood there, watching the view, our hearts likely beating in sync.

"Ryan, how dare you hide this place from us! It's like heaven on earth, dude!" Vinny called Ryan out, stuffing his face with Chinese food.
"Heh, surprise, I guess? I just think we needed something quick and easy, since we are headed to China Town after this meal." He replied, eating his Chinese slowly.
"Oh, I've been there before! It's a fun but busy place," I tell them, sitting forward. "So have I! Wow, we have a lot in common." Vinny laughed, wiping some left-over food from his face.
"Alright, since we are all done, should we get going?" Chris announced, standing and nearly hitting his head on the ceiling, making us all laugh.
"Yeah, let's go!" Vinny excitedly said, running ahead of us all
"Oh my god, hello!" Someone shrieked from beside us, "I never thought I'd get to meet you guys in the flesh!"
"Hello! How are you?" Chris said with a smile, shaking the fans' hands.
The guys took a few photos and chatted with her for a while, but my eyes were on someone else. I shrank away while the others were busy with the fan.
"Hey, Tom!" I called out, remembering the guy that came into the music shop that one time.
He turned around, confused by who was calling them. Once he caught sight of me, he jogged over with a grin on his face.
"Well, I never thought I'd see you here." He laughed and combed back his brown hair with his tanned hands. "What are you up to in good ol' New York then?"
"I'm sightseeing, but I've already been here before, so I'm pretty bored. You?" I asked, leaning on the wall and watching the guys with the fan.
"I own a music shop here. I'm a professional pianist; I'm pretty invested in music," Tom informed me, making a little piano playing gesture, and I laughed.
"Well, if you're a professional pianist, why would you be in Scranton wanting to play the drums?" I asked, intrigued.
"I'm the manager of the store, so I come here during the summer to just make sure everything is running smoothly, but I really live in Scranton, and I just wanted to learn some drums since I'm into rock and metal recently," he told me, making a rock sign with his hand.
"That's pretty cool, actually. It's such a coincidence you were here."
"Hey, if you've seen this area before, want to come check out my shop? I could teach you the ropes of piano!" He said this cheerfully.
"Oh, yeah, sure, let me just tell my friends; come with!" I replied, excited. I linked our arms and skipped over to the guys who had just finished up with the fan.
"This is my friend Tom! He wanted drum lessons back in Scranton a few weeks ago. I'm thinking of going to see his music shop while you guys go sightseeing, since I've already been here and you guys need bonding time," I informed them, dropping my linked arm with Tom after noticing Vinny's odd stare.
"Well, this pretty lady let me try out her drum set back in Scranton; why not let her try out my piano? I'm sure she will excel at it!" Tom told the guys to link arms with me again, tighter than before.
The guys just sent each other concerned glances before turning to Vinny, who looked a bit sad.
"Hold on a moment; we just need a team meeting." Chris sighed and turned to the boys, and they moved away.
"Well, what have you been up to today?"
▪️Vinny's point of view▪️
"He seems a bit creepy, dude; we shouldn't let her go alone." Ricky sighed. "Just look at him; his hands are already all over her, and she's so oblivious to it!"
"Yeah, I agree with Rick. If we let her go, she won't be safe." Justin added, putting his hands in his hoodie.
"I'll go." I sighed, looking at the two of them. It looked like they were just catching up like old friends; her smile was so bright, her lips so soft...
But there was something off about this guy; you know that feeling you get when something isn't right? Well, that's this entire situation right now.
"I can see the little green monster in your eyes, Vin," Ryan laughed, making me glare at him.
"Here's what you do," Chris told me, grabbing my shoulders. "You go with them; show him how you feel about her; protect her from him."
"Thanks for your input, guys," I sighed.
"Alright! Let's go to your shop, I'll be tagging along." I told them, not happy about this, but Valerie smiled happily.
as long as she is safe and happy.
I glanced at the guy, he looked quite grumpy and agitated.
"Alright, let's go!"
