After a few days, Taehyung was in a meeting with some old friends who became just as powerful as him he listened to their every word laying back in his chair with his leg crossed over the other one

" Surprised you even called us V, it's been long " Bogum says lighting up a cigarette

" Truly, been long overdue " Sehun says laying back

" Calm down, I just need a favor from both of you " Taehyung says

They heard a knock as the older gave the usual come in then jungkook came in as he was slightly covered in blood before heading to him dropping the envelope on his desk with little blood stains

" Nice job as always, Jeon " Taehyung says grabbing the envelope before wiping a bit of blood from his face " Go get cleaned up "

Sehun noticed the younger quickly as he stood up shocked looking at him

" Jungkook? What are you doing here? "

" I work for V. " Jungkook says

" You two know each other? " Taehyung replies

" My best friend introduced him to me, that's all " The younger says

" I see, you should go rest up Jeon "

Jungkook nodded before walking out as Sehun watched him leave then taehyung gets up and leans back on the desk

" Sehun, he isn't a plaything "

" I know that "

" Then stop staring at him like he is one "

Sehun scoffs as bogum just watched dropping his cigarette ashes in the ash tray chuckling softly

" Getting a little overprotective over your right hand man, aren't you V? "

" If I am? Mind your damn business "

After the meeting, Sehun was about to walk out the house with bogum until he saw jungkook heading over to him

" Hey jungkook "

" Nice to see you again, Sehun "

" You too, if you have some free time I was thinking of taking you out today "

" No thanks, I'm exhausted from work maybe next time " Jungkook says walking passed him as Taehyung watched from afar before leaving

" No problem " Sehun replies leaving in slight annoyance moving his hair back

Jungkook headed to the training room where he decided to work out a bit on the punching bag before kicking it hardly

The next day, Jungkook was heading out without the older's permission getting on his motorbike wearing his helmet before leaving

Jungkook arrived at yugyeom's apartment before noticing someone there taking off his helmet as she goes up to him slapping the younger in the face

" I knew I'd find you here! Why'd you kill my boyfriend?! He was everything to me! " She says

" Mingyu was mine too but it's a little deserved " Jungkook says rolling his eyes slightly

" He never wanted you! But it's fine cause I'm getting payback "

Suddenly, a few guys grab jungkook before throwing him in a dark alley then she crosses her arms before the men start kicking and punching the younger repeatedly as he tries defending himself

Then jungkook got slammed back in the wall by one of them, having blood on the side of his lips and a black eye

" Ready to apologize? " She says with a smirk

" I fucked your boyfriend " Jungkook replies spitting out blood

After a couple of hours, the younger arrived back holding his helmet as he had his hands covering his face then heads inside sighing

" Jeon! Where have you been?! I've been looking all over for you " Taehyung says

" I was busy " The younger replies walking passed him

" Jeon! I'm not through talking with you! " Taehyung says

" Just leave me alone "

" Jung-! " The older stops mid sentence before noticing blood dripping turning the younger around as he had bruises on his face and a black eye

The younger was in slight tears having flashbacks of his horrible childhood then taehyung moves his hair out his face carefully caressing his cheek lifting up his chin to face him

" What the hell happened? Huh? Who did this to you? " Taehyung says brushing his tears away carefully to not hurt his wounds further before grabbing onto his arms tightly trembling with poorly contained rage

" Who did this! " The older yells out as it echoes from the walls

" Mingyu's girlfriend hired some guys and jumped me in an alley.. she found me unguarded.. "

The older bites the inside of his cheek before placing the younger's head on his shoulder wiping the blood off his lip

" Don't worry, I got it covered.. "

After that, jimin took the younger to the care unit in that house as the doctor took a look at him before cleaning his wounds on his face and blood from his lip

" What were you thinking, jungkook! You could've gotten yourself killed! "

" It's fine, it's only a few wounds on my face "

" You say that but the boss got really angry with those wounds "

" Yeah I know, I'll apologize to him later " The younger hisses slightly at the pain as the alcohol cleans his wound

" Why'd she do this? "

" Because I'm the one who asked V to kill mingyu.. "

" still surprised boss did it.. "

" Honestly, I was shocked I didn't think he'd do it either "

" He seems to care a lot about you but I think that's because you're his right hand man and closest thing to a friend "

" Yeah.. "

The younger got bandages on his face as he then knocks on the older's office door hearing the older's come in before heading inside having his hands behind his back

" V, I wanted to apologize for sneaking out without permission " Jungkook says looking up at the older male

The older had his white collared shirt with a few buttons undone and his sleeves rolled up along with a glass of whiskey with ice in his hand before thanking a few sips and setting it down

" It's fine, Jeon. Just let me know next time if you were going somewhere, you should go rest "

" I didn't want to apologize just for that, also for the fact that I made you kill my ex for me.. I'm sorry.. "

" Jungkook " The older says gently before getting close to him as the younger looked up at him gulping slightly nervously " I was planning on doing it either way without you asking me "

" Why? "

" Why? That's a good question, I wish I knew the answer myself but let's just say he didn't deserve you whatsoever " Taehyung caresses his jawline gently before moving his hand " Go ahead and head out "

Jungkook nods before walking out as his heart was pounding and he covered his face before heading up to his bedroom
