Did a Full 180 [COMPLETED]

You win, You don't

There are many times in life where a person will be able to get the things they want, how their lives will be. Then there are times where a person will look off to the distance, the far distance to how they wanted their life to be.

Kendall Rowan picks up a plate and got himself some cheesecake, specifically blueberry cheesecake which is his favorite. He takes a bite using a fork, his eyes wandering around the place. There were several people, and he usually he didn't go where there's a lot of humans but today was a special day. A day he'll probably never forget even if he were to get dementia. And, he was invited, and also food is his number one priority.

Then he stopped munching on his food when people started to stand up and clap. He instantly put his plate down and clapped along with the crowd. Why were they clapping, he thought. His eyes suddenly caught a familiar face, up on the alter. Then another familiar face down the aisle, who looked stunning in that white dress that seemed to be perfect for her and only for her.

Kendall bites down on his lips. Right, that's why he was here. He almost forgot. No, he didn't. He knew all along why he was here, why he went here even though he didn't want to. Even though it's been twenty years, he still wanted to see how that face had changed. How they might feel if they saw his face pop up. He was sure they knew he was here since they gave him an invite. Are they searching for him in the crowd, or at they fixated on their soon to be wedded partner? Oh how Kendall wished he knew the answer to that.

It doesn't matter anymore as the two vowed to be with each other, sealing the deal with a kiss. Kendall sighs at the couple before leaving the venue without looking back at the scene.

There are somethings you win in life, and some you don't, Kendall thinks, walking away.
