"Just where we're you?" Dad thundered as I came in the door. I frowned.

"I worked last night." I muttered. I winced as I closed the door kicking off my shoes.

"You were told when to be home." Dad insisted. I shrugged trying not to show how much pain I was in.

"Sorry. Went out with friends for breakfast." I managed.

"Well, now you can sit down. I will show you all my trip." Dad said pointing to a free spot on the couch

"I've been up for nearly twenty hours!" I cried walking past everyone. "I'm going to crash." I muttered.

"Ritsuka!" mom yelled.

"You playing a gig?" the old man asked.

"Not last night. Have one tomorrow." I explained. I had reached my bedroom door. Turning I saw dad sitting on the couch. He was watching me. He had taught me the few chords he had known on guitar. I had learned the rest on my own. His eyes racked over my body.

"Get some rest. I will catch up with you later." He nodded. That's the way he was. Gruff at first glance but had a teddy bear heart. I waved off my thanks as I went into my room. The first thing I did was strip down to my boxers. I pulled out my phone. It was nearly dead.

Plugging it in I texted Mafuyu saying I was home. He sent me a sleeping cartoon bear. I smiled it was cute. Thanking him I sent a good night before collapsing onto the bed. I didn't even recall covering up. Sleep took me quickly. I awoke to my room being darker. Rolling over I saw my phone was lit up. I picked it up.

Haruki sent a text saying he had forgotten the pain pills. He told me he left them with Mafuyu. I thanked him. The pain slamming into me now that he brought it to my attention. I groaned. I had a text from Akihiko. He was just checking up on me. Little sleep emoji's from Mafuyu. I glanced at the time. I had a little over an hour to get to his place.

Carefully I got up. The house was surprisingly quiet. I padded down the hall to the bathroom. Yawning I went in to use it. Deciding it best to shower now, I took of my boxers. The warm water helped with some of the pain, yet made some places hurt more. I winced as I washed myself.

Once done I wrapped the towel around my waist. I snapped a quick picture to send to Mafuyu. The response wasn't what I was hoping for.

"Oh, you look so pain filled!" he sent a few sad emoji's. I felt bad.

"Sorry, was trying to be sexy." I texted. I flipped my phone over as I brushed my hair and teeth. Wandering back down the hall to my room, I felt the phone vibrate.

"Drop the towel next time." Was the reply. I smirked. I got dressed. I wasn't sure exactly what to wear. He only asked me to come hang out with him. I slipped on some lose fitting pants, a band tee and a hoodie. I put on my converse. Flipping the guitar to my back I walked out.

"I thought you would be staying in tonight?" Yayoi called.

"Practice." I said heading to the door.

"Mom and dad went out. Why don't we watch a movie?" she appeared in the kitchen doorway with only underwear and a half shirt on.

"Put some clothes on!" I yelled at her. "I have practice!" I added.

"You haven't eaten anything all day!" She screamed back as I opened the door.

"I'll grab something at the station." I walked away. My head throbbing. My ribs hurt making it difficult to breathe. I leaned against the side of the train as we zoomed through the streets. It hurt to just stand here. Being in a daze of pain I nearly missed Mafuyu's stop. I stepped off.
