Liyla Morin pov

As the doors of the council chambers open up I'm called in. "you padowan, you are here for you final trials to become a knight." Master Mundi says. "If you pass you will be taking over command of your masters legion and he will become a master. Is there anything you want to say?" master windu states. "Yes masters, my master he has trained multiple padowans before but he cares only for the numbers. I had to teach myself the most. I had luck to have Masters wanting to help me but I think he does it just to get on this council." I state. "aware of this we are, the first to say this you are not." Master yoda says. "but his faith will be discussed later on." Master windu says.

The trials would begin.

-3 days later-

"By the will of the council, bye the will of the force Liyla Morin Jedi Knight."

Master Windu says while cutting off my padowan braid.

"thank you masters" thank them before leaving.

-2 hours later-

-commlink would beep-

"this is commander Melsh General do you read me?" Melsh asks. "Yes commander I read you, I guess they informed you of change of command." I chuckle "Yes sir, but its better you come to the cruiser I got a casualty rapport for you we lost a lot of good me on Ryloth after you left." He states. "What happened?" I ask him. "your former master our former general he send us just in like general krell would. We lost a tenth of our men!"

"I'm on my way."

Republic Venator class Star Destroyer "the meltor"

Jedi knight Liyla Morin POV

As I leave the shuttle and enter the hangar I'm greeted by my commander and my former master. "ah you've come to take over command I presume?" he says. Something isn't right I think. "yes your called back to the temple your becoming a master." I say cold. "Good these failures are nothing but a lot of bark and no bite, ha 'elite' battalion time to get out of this mess." He says while dragging the commander with him. "the commander stays here." I say "He is coming with me he disobeyed orders and will be court marshaled" he says when I look at the commander noticing his cuffs. "What orders did you disobey commander?" I ask looking at him. "he didn't listen to an order I gave him." Lior interrupts. "I want to hear it from MY commander himself." I cut him off. "I contacted you against his orders." He tells me. "I see no reason why he needs to be punished , trooper remove his cuffs and escort general Lior to the shuttle before grabbing the commanders arm and pulling him with me to the bridge.

"thank you sir. I owe you one." Melsh says me looking out the main window. "You do not General lior is a lot like master krell he will do anything to punish clones and if someone complains about him to other jedi it's a disaster waiting to happen, you are more than just a clone you are a living being with its own connection to the force it resides in all living beings just loke you!" I say before turning to him seeing a tear on his cheek, a single tear. "thank you general." He says before walking off the bridge to his quarters.

Melsh Pov

I am shocked for what just happened. She is not like other jedi she is caring for us. I can be happy to have her.

When I leave my refresher and put on my armor to go do my control checks I hear someone knock. "Enter" I say when the general enters. I directly stand in line. "no need to be so formal Melsh I'm here to talk." She says. "I'm sorry general." I answer. "please call my liyla you don't need to speak to me when not Infront of the men." She says before asking "may I sit?" "Of course gene- I mean Liyla." I say stuttering. "wow did I just make the commander of one of the best legions of the GAR stutter?" she chuckles. "I- I uhhh..." "no worries melsh." She assures me putting her hand on my shoulder. "I'll let you do your thing I'll go sleep now good night." She says when leaving my quarters.

What just happened I'm such a di'kut! I say to myself when going to start my round.

Liyla Morin POV

I hope I won't get to attached to him. I need to stay by the code I can't have this. I think to myself while entering my quarters.

-next morning-

Melsh pov

"Alright listen up we have some downtime for about 3days to recover from the losses and to refill you may choose if you want to stay on the ship of want to go down to the city as long as you report back in every morning at the closest point just make sure we know your still alive understood?"

"Sir yes sir" the men answer. "Good, dismissed." I say when all troopers scatter.

"good job commander." The general says walking up to me from behind me. "just doing my job." "you can also take some downtime you know right?" she asks me while I scoff. "I am the commanding officer of this cruiser I don't need downtime" I tell her a bit more rude then supposed but I Don't care and walk off. "I did not dismiss you CC 02-1025." She yells when I froze. She never uses our numbers unless its serious I think while almost balling up in fear.

Liyla pov

I could feel the fear radiating off him through the force. I had never talked to him by calling his number. "It isn't because you are the commanding officer you have no right to rest. I'm sorry for calling you by your number." I tell him "Are...are you ordering me to take free time?" "Yes" I tell him "sir yes sir." He answers I sigh "your dismissed, I'm so-" I don't get time to finish my sentence he already walked off. I could feel he was hurt. What have I done I'm trying to get him better but I make it worse. I think while walking towards a shuttle to head down to the temple.

Melsh pov

I walk to my quarters with my helmet on no one needs to see my face now my broken expression. When I enter my quarters it breaks out. "she kriffi'ng used my number my number how stupid was I to believe she was different than other jedi." I talk out loud. "what a di'kut am I believing it"

-commlink beeps-

"commander Melsh here."

"hey commander would you care joining us here at 79's?" blake asks

"I'll be on my way" I tell him before shutting off the link.

Jedi Knight Liyla Morin

I activate my saber in the training room as my opponent does the same. "ready?" a jedi knight asks. "yes, are you?" I ask. "I am it's just you seem distracted you are doing this to escape something. What is going on?" he asks me. I deactivate my saber and fall to my knees. "I hurt someone, one of the most loyal people and I'm afraid I won't be able to have his trust ever again." I tell him. "one of your clones?" "my commander." I answer. "I see you will need to gain his trust again then, what did you do if I may ask." He asks "I called him by his number what makes me a bit of a hypocrite I told him to use his downtime but he did not listen. So I called him by his number and ordered him." I tell him. "I believe if you talk then you can make it right I think." He tells me. "thank you!" I tell him when activating my saber to start training.

After the training ends I call the admiral. "Admiral do you know the location of the commander?" I ask him.

"last I checked he was going to 79's with some other clones." He answers me. "thank you admiral!"

(N/A the next  chapters are also ready expect one of  them in about 1 week. )

(i'm making it earlier today the next one will be out i got enough for an entire moth of posting
