Commander melsh pov

"...GET OUT" she yells when I walk out. I wen tot far... I think while heading to my barracks. When I arrive at my barracks I get changed and lay down to sleep. I seem to catch no sleep. It is bye now mid night... I sigh and head to the mess to get a bit of food. When I arrive I sit down. After about 5 minutes I hear someone enter the mess. I turn around and see liyla stand there. "couldn't sleep as well?" I asked when she nods. When she got some food she sat down next to me. "sorry, I should not have pushed you over like that." I tell her when she looks me straight in the eyes. "I should not have reacted with anger, it is not the jedi way..." she sighs. "I think it is better that-" she starts but I cut her off and kiss her. "no please no I know what you're going to say and I can't." "WE are battalion leaders there is a code we need to follow." She states "we already broke it and you know it now it is time to head back to sleep." I state when heading to my barracks leaving her there.

-next morning – capital city-

I head towards the capital to take notes off all the damage that has been to the city. "LEAVE CLONE!" I hear an angry citizen shout. When I turn around I feel a sharp pain in my stomach. I look down to see a knife in it. The suspect runs away when I press a button to request emergency help. Then all turns black in front of my eyes.

'melsh pleas wake up!' I hear a voice in my head.

'melsh you have been like this for over a month they are going to pull the plug!'

'li...' I musher in the link

'you hear me!'

'what happened...'

'you got stabbed your now in the medical wing of the temple.'

'can you wake me?'

'I'll try. But it could kill you...'

'do it.'

Then w bright white light appears in front of me. "he is waking up vitals are stable!" I hear stoic shout. "wha-" I can't finish my sentence when I feel a tube in the way. "we will get it out relax breath in and out!" I hear another medic shout.

After 15 minutes straight up tests they let sit upright and talk. "how long?" "1 month" commander soyil answers.

(btw we entered the year 21 bby now!)

In the next week they let me get back up to full strength I train day in day out against liyla's wishes but at least commander soyil helps me get away with it she thinks it is my own choice how I recover. "how are you feeling?" I hear the voice of hercu ask when I stand for the first time back in armor on the bridge of the meltor. "better. What is the mission?" "just give some back up to general skywalkers fleet." "good. I will be contacting him." I state when. "already did." Hercu says. "and commander, I'm happy to have you back being in command is tuff." Hercu says when I chuckle. "I know, oh believe me I know."

After diner in the cafeteria I head towards liyla's quarters, I haven't really talked to her outside work talk. Both me and her have been avoiding each other. When I arrive I knock and wait for a response. After a while she opens the door. "you look like crap" I state when I see her hair all messed up she completely wrecked from the week. "I have not really had time to sleep and the one time I can you come wake me up and insult me?!" she almost yells. "can I come in?" I ask calmly when she says "no. I do not want to talk." "we can also just be with each oth-" I can't finish when she closes the door right in my face. I walk away when I hear her say one more thing. "melsh you must understand we are not a thing anymore." She states. My hearth breaks in a million pieces right there. I walk away to the fields.
