Yue nodded. She suddenly felt shy next to him. He was wearing mostly black tonight and looking very shuai as usual. His hair looked so soft and bouncy. He also looked fresh. Apparently they did a quick street photoshoot right before she arrived.

They walked down the main road when suddenly he made a turn into a small lane. Yue stopped.
He turned and smiled. "Do you want to be caught by paparazzi?" She shook her head, embarrassed by her overreacting.
What is going through my mind tonight? Act yourself, Shen Yue!
They walked silently for the first few minutes, enjoying the night breeze. Businesses had closed for the day and people had gone home to be with their families. It was really quiet.
Zheyuan was still figuring out how to make his opening when Yue asked "I need to know something."
He looked down at her, the street light casted a soft glow on her face.

"Hey, stop laughing. I want to know why you went to KR."
This time he laughed even louder, throwing his head to the sky.
Yue folded her arms. "Chen Zheyuan, if you don't stop laughing, I will go home right now."
"Okay okay. Sorry. I was there for you."
"Huh, what? Why?"
He gave a big sigh. "I felt bad not coming back to Beijing. I couldn't shake off the feeling that you hated me for not going home—"
"No, I don't hate you. I was just—-"
"Ranting? On a livestream?"
