(this is my theory, it's nothing official)

Bob's Pov:

I raised the hood of my jacket as I left the hotel and approached the van, I knocked on the door: "pendant",
"you know it's inside me idiot" the window rolled down,
"why are you here Frank?",
"they fit you looking, you know you can't go as far as you want from the city",
"yes, I know, but you know what situation I'm in" he gave a hint of a smile,
"that's right, (Y\N), I know that girl, she's been through a lot, have you just dragged her into a really shitty situation," he said as he took a cigarette.

I sighed and put a hand on my face "do I have to go back to the city?",
"yes, these are orders directly from the boss",
"oh fuck",
"yeah, if I were you I'd go pack my bags, you know how it's done" he threw me an empty suitcase from the van:
"Do you really have everything in there?" I asked confused as he laughed,
"sure, after all, kidnapping people for the cult requires having all the necessary things" I rolled my eyes,
"last thing, you have to take (Y\N) to the cult, so hurry up and tell her for whom you work" sooner or later I would have had to do it anyway.

"Tell the boss I'll be in town within a week" I turned to leave,
"why a week? you have to fuck yourself first (Y\N)?" he burst out laughing as I grit my teeth, "shut up Frankenstain",
"why? it's true" he laughed heartily as he started the van and drove off disappearing into the night.

Frank had always been the freest member among us all, he was also the youngest: he too was an old regular client of mine, I never expected to work with someone like that, even though he had proved quite effective at his job, for this very reason the boss made he circulate freely in the city; despite this, the police were looking for him too, but they didn't link his abductions to us.

(Y\N)'s Pov:

I saw the van leave and Bob came back with a resigned air, this time I was going to make him talk by hook or by crook: I was found behind the door when he knocked and said,
"Are you going to explain or should I leave you out of the room?" he sighed,
"yes, start packing and I'll explain everything to you".

"So, let me understand if I heard you right: you're in a cult and your boss wants you to go back to town because you couldn't leave without his consent" I said as I closed the last things in the suitcase that Bob had brought,
"exactly" he answered while he was sitting on the bed with his hands in his hair,
"there's only one thing I don't understand" I sat next to him,
"you said that all members of the cult have a pendant, where is yours?" he sighed before opening his shirt and revealing a large scar in the middle of his chest;
"I sewed it in here years ago," I blanched and stroked the scar with my finger.

"Bob" I got up to stand in front of him, "let's go back to the city, it will be fine",
"we are both wanted by the police (Y\N), aren't you worried?" he asked raising his head to look at me, it was the first time I'd seen him really sad since I'd known him, he looked like a helpless puppy,
"I have you as a bodyguard, it'll be fine" I stroked his cheek gently;
"give me a big smile come on, where's the big scary killer who threatened to eat me?" I laughed as I walked away from him to put my suitcase near the door,
"he's still here" he had approached me without me noticing and had lifted me up in his thick arms.

"What is it? Do you want to eat me Mr Devil?" I jokingly saw him smile,
"in a way yes, and I'm sure your lips are really good" he said before kissing me as I put my arms around his neck;

"hey (Y\N) I know this will sound strange to you but I think I'm really in love with you" he said resting his forehead on mine,
"don't worry, I think I love you too you stupid red devil that you are"

Anyway that about Frank is just my theory, the cult kidnaps children and he does it too, in my head as a sensible idea but there is nothing confirmed.
