8-Smiling

I explained everything to Alex and my Mum last night, my Mum said that we should invite Jacob round for dinner as a thank you and I agreed.

My alarm sounded and I went over to my bathroom, I realised after all the commotion I forgot to wash my hair. I got into the shower and washed my hair as quickly as I could, I blow dried it and left it out again. I put ointment on my hands and knees then I went to my wardrobe.

I picked out a grey cropped t-shirt which says Don't go with the flow, and my white ripped jeans. I then put a black and white checked shirt on, not doing it up. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs. When I got into the kitchen I saw my Mum making breakfast. "Hi Mum" I said

"Good morning" She chirped

"Whatcha cooking?" I asked

"Scrambled egg, want some?"

"Yes please, only a little though"

"Here you go" She slid a plate towards me

"Thanks Mum" I smiled and started eating

Alex came down and served himself some eggs and toast, we chatted a little bit before me and Alex had to go to school, I put on my toms and got my board. Alex put on his converse and grabbed his. We said a quick goodbye to Mum and headed outside.

Once we got to school I saw queen bee wink at Alex, I looked at him, he looked ready to be sick! Once we got inside he looked at me and put his finger in his mouth and faked gagged. I laughed and we made our way to our lockers, I saw Christina and she walked over. "I heard about your injuries, are you okay?" She asked with concern

"Yeah I'm fine. Who told you?" I asked

"Tanya, she said that Brooklyn caused it by throwing a branch in the way"

"Yeah, she's horrible" I commented

"I agree to that!!"

"I've got to go now, I guess I'll see you at lunch then?" Stina said

"Yep" I replied and she gave me a hug. After we parted ways and I went to geography. The teacher introduced himself as Dr Sayid, unluckily no one I knew was in this class with me. I went to a desk at the back and sat down, a boy with flaming red hair sat next to me. He wore black rayban glasses, not sunglasses, and had dark blue eyes. He smiled kindly at me and introduced himself as Adam.

After 2 hours of geography, which I actually love, unlike someone I know, cough, Alex, cough. Me and Adam went to maths, the teacher gave me more textbook work, which I finished fairly quickly. When I told her that I finished she gave me an even harder textbook which actually challenged me.

When the bell rang for lunch Adam told me that I could eat lunch with his and his friends if I wanted, but I told him no. I got a salad for lunch and sat next to Alex. He gave me a look, I just shrugged it off, I can eat what I want. Ashley sat next to Alex and Joe sat next to me. Somehow we managed to get into the topic of COD, Ashley and Joe were surprised that I played it but I just told them to deal with it, then we all laughed.

After lunch I had art with Ashley, today we worked on a title page for surrealism and Rene Magritte. I hadn't finished mine, along with the rest of the class and our teacher told us to finish it for homework. Next I went to sport with Tanya and Christina, we were doing gymnastics, I smiled. Once the lesson was over Tanya said "You were amazing, I didn't know you can do gymnastics!"

"Yeah, I love it" I smiled

"Can you show me something?" She requested

"Sure, what would you like to see?" I replied

"Ooh, can you do a cartwheel with no hands?"

I nodded. I ran and hopped then flung my body over sideways with my arms tucked in to my chest, I landed square on my feet and she beamed at me, so I beamed back.

"That was so cool!" She said

"Thanks" I said and blushed

We went into the changing room and got changed, no way Evie, its totally not called a changing room so that you change clothes in it... I found Alex and Jacob waiting by my locker, I smiled at them and grabbed my board.

"Hey Jacob, I forgot to ask you, would you like to come over for dinner tonight as a thank you for helping me out yesterday?" I asked

"Oh that would be nice, I'll come, I just need to make sure its okay with my parents" He replied

"Do you have any siblings?" Alex asked

"Yeah, a younger sister and an older sister" Jacob said

"Oh cool" Alex commented. We all started walking home and chatting about useless things. When we got to Jacob's house, we waited outside while Jacob went in and asked about staying for dinner at ours. He came back smiling and said that he was allowed. We all went over to our house and Mum said "Hey Alex, hey Evie" She came out of the kitchen and shook Jacob's hand saying

"I'm Ella, the munchkins Mum, make yourself at home Jacob"

"Thank you Ella for having me over for dinner" After that Mum went back to the kitchen and I explained that I had a little homework to do and I would come back down soon. Jacob and Alex said that it was fine and that they would be downstairs playing GTA5.

I looked at my homework, very pleased with my turnout. I took a picture and sent it to Ashley, he replied saying that he hasn't even started his yet. I put my phone on my bedside table and went downstairs and joined in the game.

About two hours later Mum came in saying that dinner was ready.

We all went into the kitchen and sat down at the table, Mum had made lasagne. My Mum told Jacob to help himself first and then Alex did, then me and then Mum. We chatted about school, our friends and how we met then my Mum thanked him for helping me.

After dinner Jacob said that he should be getting home now, my Mum thanked him again and he thanked her for the lovely dinner.

"Thank you very much Ella"

"It was my pleasure, I hope that you'll come round again soon"

Jacob hugged me, Alex and Mum then went over the street to his house. He waved from the door and we shut ours. After that we watched a bit of Friends and then I packed my bag for tomorrow and went to bed.
