The hall was brightly lit with a few guests wandering here and there. There were mostly Taehyung's age people, but some elderly people were present. Probably, the kid's parents. After a long twenty minutes of pleading with his mom, Taehyung finally got to come to Jimin's party along with Raon, Taehee, and Jeongguk. Jimin invited Jeongguk

Taehyung as soon saw Hoseok, sped away to chat with his friends. Raon smiled at Jeongguk spotting Jimin's mom, walking away to talk with her telling Jeongguk to join with Taehyung. Taehee was talking with Jeongguk until she found Jimin's sister roaming in the hall and joined her. Jeongguk ended up being alone in a room of unknown people and internally regretted coming to this party.

He peeked glances at People passing by, hoping to disappear or become invisible. What irritates him more was the fact, the guests noticed him, but turned their heads away from him.

"Hey, seems like Tae abandoned you", A voice said making him look at the person standing before him. Jimin. The birthday boy himself.

"Yeah, I don't know any people here and Taehyung is busy talking to Hoseok Hyung", Jeongguk found himself explaining his situation to Jimin, who smiled back at him.

"I'm sorry, Jeongguk. Since you're my guest, How about we spend some time together?", The birthday guy offered. Jeongguk didn't find his voice to say no as he was alone at the party and nodded.

"Come on, you're looking suffocated. Let's go outside", Jimin said towing Jeongguk with him. On the way outside, Jeongguk glanced at Taehyung who was busy dancing with Hoseok, whole lot of eyes were attracted to the two.

They reached the backyard and the place was big. Jimin loosened his hold on Jeongguk moving away and taking a seat in the chair on the lawn with a circular table. Jeongguk found himself sitting back on the chair, looking at the sky, not at the guy next to him.

"I didn't know you were the guy Taehyung always rambled about", Jimin started staring deep at Jeongguk's face. The younger of the two turns his attention now fully on the guy seated before him.

"Me?", Jeongguk asked curious pointing to himself. Jimin chuckled at this,

"Yeah, He usually talks about this 'bunny', his aunt's son. He spoke of you a lot. He usually says that he hates you though", Jimin shrugged looking for a reaction from the latter's face.

Jeongguk gulps listening to him. So, Taehyung hates me to the core. But, what have I done though? It's painful being punished for something you even don't know.

"Chill, Jeongguk. He says yet never meant it", Jimin adds making Jeongguk release the breath he was holding.

"Yeah? He's so nice to me", Jeongguk utters sarcastically though he didn't intend on being Sarcastic. He thought to be more questioning ended up wrong.

Jimin laughs covering his mouth with his hands for decency.

"Tae's always been like that to you, I think. Believe me, he adores you", The elder of two reveals with confidence earning a questioning look from the latter.

"You don't believe me? He even has a picture of you that he showed me once rambling about how cute you were. I don't know it was you since he never told me your name", Jimin revealed the secret shared with his best friend. Jeongguk felt pink creeping up his cheeks. He looks away not meeting the other's eye.

"He's a baby when he's completely comfortable around you", Jimin states soothing the younger's flustered state.

"It's embarrassing like I've known him for almost all my life and he's not even comfortable with me", Jeongguk let his thoughts out. He feels good talking with Jimin.
