Taehyung goes to his room with the phone he picked up from the dining table on the way. He closes the door, getting comfortable on the carpet, leaning back on the bed, with his legs criss-crossed.

He quickly dials Yugyeom, waiting for the receiver to pick up. Unconsciously, his heartbeat picked up and anticipation grew on how Jeongguk will talk to him.

The call was attended and he hurried, "Yugyeom, I'll talk to you later. Pass the phone to Jeongguk, plus I'm totally not okay with you. We'll have a conversation later, yeah?",

He was met with silence but a silent reply followed, "Yeah. Just a sec",

He tightened his legs together at the over-sensitivity and anticipation eating him up. Finally, he knew it was Eunsook's fault and not his boyfriend's. He smiled to himself as the tingling feeling in his stomach grew but there was no voice from the other side.

"Hello, T-Tae", it was a deep quiet tone that passed a shiver down Taehyung's spine and he smiles wide,

"Hey, Kookie. Don't sweat too much. Auntie told me everything and I understand you. I just wanted to hear your voice since your phone is off and I was worried but I'm happy now after speaking with you", Taehyung rambled off smiling to himself and being his usual self, to avoid the sadness and sentiment.

"I'm sorry for blabbering. Tell me, How are you holding up there?", The elder queries standing up and plopping on the bed, sprawling on it.

"Good, I guess", It was the only reply he got that got his attention but he pushed it off since Jeongguk might be still hung up from disarray.

"How is Japan? Oh, You better attend the contest and come back soon", Taehyung cheers trying to cheer up his boyfriend too.

The other was utterly quiet and he frowns but quickly smiles again deciding to tease the younger,

"Are you planning to run away from me, Kookie? You can't go too far before I'll come to Japan to get you myself", Taehyung enunciates, now wondering if he has been talking in the wrong way to the younger since after a hassle, he's been talking like a guy with no care of the world that might've pulled a wrong string.

"Tae, I'm exhausted and confused. Can we talk later?", The younger asks instead and Taehyung definitely knew he stepped on the wrong stone that put him as an apathetic person.

He sighs closing his eyes tight at how he is been acting. Surely, he is a maniac for almost jumping his boyfriend and exhausting him. But, confused? His voice got deeper as he spoke,

"Is it about Eunsook Auntie? I mean, you're confused. Is it because of her? If it's her, don't wor-",

"Tae, Please. I need to rest", Jeongguk cut him off and he quickly shut his mouth for rambling again like that. He can't believe how their relationship has changed in two days' time. Jeongguk always shared everything with him and now he wanted to rest. He holds back the urge to cry and hums.

"I love you, Jungkookie", Taehyung quietly confessed waiting for a reply but instead got a sigh in return.

"Don't say something you don't know will last", Jeongguk sounded irritated now and it caught Taehyung off, as he sprung, sitting up from his position, frowning deeply.

"What do you mean, Kookie? You knew what we share is going to last forever",

"How can you be so sure, Tae? What if You fall out of love? What if I fall out of love? What if this isn't LOVE at all!", Jeongguk harshly shouts back and Taehyung's heart broke at each word his boyfriend spoke.
