33. Paradisiacal

Korean literature was over. They bowed to their Teacher who left the class. Jeongguk yawns leaning back on his seat, turning sideways to see Jimin resting his face on the table, eyes closed. He looks at Taehyung, who raises both his hands in the air, stretching. Many started to go out of the classroom for fresh air while they remained back.

This morning has been surprising for him from the start. Taehyung was jumpy and pecked him when they met, un noticed by Taehee surprised him.

Joohyun is present when they reached their class and she smiled. That was suspicious. After last night's event, he didn't expect her to be present, all smiley. Even though he didn't pry her and tried to be normal, he knew it wasn't.

They were informed of a Korean test yesterday and surprisingly, their teacher was super kind and told them off. He even told them that the test was postponed until next week.

"Kookie, let's go out. I'm sure English Ssaem is late", Taehyung calls and he nods smiling wide and Taehyung wakes Jimin up. However, Jeongguk is reminded of Jin, his friend had told him he would call for the negotiation with his parents or well that's how he named it.

He's surprised to find that Jin hasn't contacted him but his parents. There were missed calls and he frowns.

"What is it, Jungkook?", Taehyung inquires peeping into his phone and looking up at him, confused.

"Call them, Guk", Jimin adds and Jeongguk nods standing up and walking out followed by Jimin and Taehyung.

"I told My dance teacher to give her friend my number", Jimin reveals and Taehyung slaps his shoulder,

"Congratulations, idol",

"He has to get a call and then sign the paper", Jeongguk imitates Taehyung's voice earning a soft hit from his boyfriend.

They make their way to the terrace, their hideout and he calls his dad. He smiles at Taehyung and Jimin who are busy bantering.

"Hello, Dad. I was in class. Is everything okay?", Jeongguk asks in one voice and waits for his father to continue instead of getting a short laugh.

"Hello, Kook. Your mom and I are on our way to Busan", This revelation made Jeongguk still, cold sweat broke out. In a blink, Taehyung was beside him holding his shoulder, pressing soft pecks on his temple while Jimin pats him.

"Kook? Are you there? Don't worry, it's just that Eunsook's Dad is sick", Joonwoo continues and Jeongguk was relieved, breathing normally.

"Is he okay?", Jeongguk voices in tiny and he can hear Joonwoo humming. Suddenly his mom's voice speaks through the call.

"Kook, Stay at Raon's and eat well. We'll be back in two days", Eunsook conferred and Jeongguk smiles, involuntarily nodding his head and there were chuckles next to him, he focuses on the two who were laughing at his cuteness.

"Take care, Mom", Jeongguk states hanging up and turning to his friends who were laughing and Jimin tries to pinch his cheeks though he slaps his hand away.

"Aw... Gukkie looks cute", Taehyung silently laughs while Jimin tees Jeongguk, and suddenly everyone quietens.

"Grandpa is sick", Jeongguk falters sitting down followed by Jeongguk and Taehyung.

"Don't you wanna go visit him?", Jimin wonders patting Jeongguk and Taehyung stays silent listening to him.

To their surprise, Jeongguk shrugs, "It's okay because I hardly visit him. Mom was wary that he was a bad influence on me. I never talked to him more than a minute",
