31. Cunctation

Ignore the mistakes (●'◡'●)

Taehyung and Jimin were seated next to each other on the terrace, their secret spot which was abandoned during holidays. The snow melted though it was chilly. They simply sat in silence eating the dried squid fry that Jimin had brought them. Jeongguk was sent to the staff room to carry their notebooks.

After last night's conversation, Taehyung and Jeongguk messaged each other good nights yet message in bits on Instagram sending each other funny reels.

"Mmm... your mom makes the best squid fries", Taehyung munches on the snack, enjoying each bite that goes into his mouth. He wanted to make the air normal because his friend is spacing out a lot today and it makes him wonder what's bothering him.

Taehyung leans sideways to Jimin and shakes him by his shoulder with his shoulder, waking him up from whatever he was thinking, "What were you saying?",

"I just asked if you met up with Yoongi Hyung?", Taehyung lies even though he never uttered those words.

"No. Why?", Jimin asks back closing the box he was holding and stopping his best friend from eating any more fries earning a pouty look from him.

"Rest is for Guk", The short guy of the two speaks again putting away the box trying to concentrate on the conversation with his best friend.

Taehyung slings his arm over Jimin's shoulder, pulling him closer, "Are you okay, Jiminie?"

Jimin laughs lightly looking at Taehyung, "I'm good as the sky, Tae Tae"

Taehyung inspects the sky turning to his best friend again, "Are you perhaps confused because the sky is unclear with a lot of clouds?",

"Wow. You're becoming a genius Tae", Jimin teases laughing when Taehyung understands him and pretends to punch him in the stomach and he blocks it laughing loudly.

"At least I'm becoming one", Taehyung is the one who gets punches now and he has to act as if hurt clutching his stomach.

"Looks like the dramatic besties are breaking up", Jeongguk taunts taking his place next to Jimin skipping Taehyung who side-eyes him, raising his brow.

"Are you really blind, Guk? We're just messing with each other", Jimin looks between the couples as Jeongguk casually takes the squid fry and munches on them ignoring Taehyung and Jimin.

"Oh, looks like the dramatic couple are breaking up already", The short guy announces and The couple answers in unison,

"We aren't" makes Jimin chuckle and Jeongguk looks at Taehyung, scrunching his nose up and earning an infectious smile that makes his legs weak.

"And, Jimin. Don't worry, you'll be the groom's man for Tae", Jeongguk informs focused on eating not noticing what the two were doing.

After hearing this confession from Jeongguk, Jimin jerks his head towards Taehyung whose ears were red now and he smiles sheepishly at his best friend.

Jimin pulls the two throwing his arms over their shoulder pulling them close and whispers, "I'll be the groom's man for you both",

Jeongguk chuckles glancing at his boyfriend while Taehyung smiles back secretly stealing a fry to eat.

"We should probably get back to class if we don't wanna get detention", It's Taehyung who whispers it this time and Jeongguk nods, the couple looking at Jimin who smiles at them, for a moment he forgot what was bothering him.

Jimin sighs, dusting off his pants and going down with the couple at the front. He can't help but space out after meeting his dance teacher yesterday and her offer. It was confusing even though the offer was irresistible.
