Inui Seishu "Inupi" x Reader

"Here's your change. Do come again!!" You say and the customer leaves the bakery.

"L/N-san, thanks for the hard work today. You can go off early" says Yura, the Manager of the bakery.

"Eh? Is it really alright Yura-san?" You ask and he smiles.

"Go ahead. It's you and your boyfriend's 3rd anniversary right?" He says and you nod.

"I-I can't thank you enough Yura-san" You bow and prepare to leave the bakery.

After leaving the bakery, you give a call to your boyfriend of three years but matter several rings, your smile became a frown.

"He must be busy..." You convince yourself as you decide to buy a cake to celebrate.

After purchasing his favourite cake, you went to your shared apartment but you begin to feel your pulse increasing upon seeing high heels which didn't belong to you.

You want to call out to him to see if he was home but you stop yourself. As you move closer to the bedroom, your eyes widen upon hearing sounds of moans and grunts.

You carefully take a peek and that's when you drop the cake and he turn to the door. His eyes widen as you look at him with disappointment.

"Y-Y/N!"

You scoff angrily and ran out of the house in teats, ignoring his cries for you. You didn't know how long your ran for as you ended up at a nearby bench.

"Some anniversary this is..." You mumble as you smile bitterly.

Actually, you had always known that he was cheating on you. You just didn't had the guts to confront to him about it.

"Y/N?" You look up to see who was calling you and you were surprised to see an old friend of yours, Inui Seishu.

"S-Seishu? Is that you?" You ask as you wipe your tears.

"Y/N! Long time no see but... Why're you crying? Did something happen? Where is Maekawa?" Inui ask and you bit your lips to hold back the tears.

"Y/N?" However, you couldn't help but to cry as Inui comforts you.

After calming yourself down, you slowly begin to tell Inui what happened.

"That jerk! He said he would make you happy!" Inui says in anger.

"I-It's alright Seishu" You say, trying to calm him down.

"3 years ago... He gave me his words... He said hee would male you happy but you hadn't been happy since!" Says Inui.

"Calm down Seishu... It's fine. Umm, when did you return to Tokyo?" You ask.

"Ah... I came back a week ago" says Inui.

"Will you be back permanently? Or... Are you only here for vacation?" You ask.

"Studies already ended for me. I came back to work at my Uncle's company" says Inui.

"That's great. Umm, let's exchange contact and keep in touch!" You say and you exchange phone numbers with Inui before the two of you parted ways.

You did not head back to your shared apartment but rather to your own apartment which you own.

"Haven't been back here in a while..." You say upon entering.

After taking a shower, you grab your phone to see several miss calls and text messages from him. You sigh and open up the messages.

You sigh and ignore the messages as you throw your phone onto the bed as you sit by your study desk and took out a diary.

You smile and open up, revealing the first page to be of a photograph back during your high school days.

It was you and your friends clique which consisted of you, Inui, Kokonoi Hajime, Hanagaki Takemichi and Matsuno Chifuyu.

You chuckle upon seeing their funny faces in the fun shot. You then place the photo back to the diary and flip to the next page.

It was another photo, but it wad of you and Inui. You gently caress the photo and smile gently as you reminisced the memory the day this photo was taken.

"It's finally graduation!!" You cheered.

"Three years flew by so fast" saif Takemichi.

"What do y'all plan on doing?" Koko asked.

"Takemitchy and I are heading for Tokyo University!" Said Chifuyu.

"That's cool. You two would probably see each other everyday" You said.

"Nah, we're in different majors" said Chifuyu.

"I'll be in Kyoto, majoring in Finance Business" said Koko.

"Then what about you Inupi?" Takemichi asked.

"I'm heading to Harvard" Your eyes widened.

While the boys cheered for his success, you had felt sad. Because he was leaving and you could emd up being alone.

After the graduation ceremony, you all had taken the group photo before you requested for an individual photo with each of them.

After taking the last photo with Inui, you hadn't realize your heart was clenching so tightly, as if it was telling you to confess.

"Would... It be too late now?" You ask to yourself.

The next day, you decided to meet up with your boyfriend. Correction, ex-boyfriend, as you decided to break up with him.

You then end up meeting Inui the same place you two reunited yesterday night, of course you weren't expecting him.

"I broke up with him but my heart didn't feel so much pain. Maybe it's because I didn't love him deep enough" You say.

"Y/N... Can I... Say something inappropriate?" Inui ask and you raise an eyebrow.

"I know it's a bad timing since you just broke up but... I'm worried if I don't say it now, you could end up somewhere further" says Inui.

"What is it?" You ask and he takes a deep breath before facing you.

"I... I love you" Your eyes widen.

"I have always love you since middle school. I didn't confess because... I didn't want to ruin our friendship.

I knew Maekawa had a crush on you since our senior year and you accepted his confession 3 years ago but... I regret it.

I really do love you Y/N. I'm just... Too much of a Coward" Inui confesses and you were stun for words.

"S-Seishu..."

"Sorry... P-Pretend you didn't hear any of—"

You cut him off as you kiss him on the lips. He got shock and is blushing greatly.

"Thank you... For reciprocating my feelings. I... Also didn't have the guts to confess to you" You say shyly and Inui wraps his arms around you.

"Will you... Be my girlfriend? I promise, I'll make you happy" says Inui and you wrap your arms around him.

"Please be my boyfriend. I love you Seishu" You say and thus, you have finally gotten Seishu to be your boyfriend.
