Sano Shinichiro "Shin" x Reader

"Phew! All done! Thanks for the help with my homework, Shin-kun!" You said to your boyfriend, Sano Shinichiro.

"No problem. I just didn't want you to fail, that's all" said Shinichiro and you puffed out your cheek.

"Is it alright if I stayed the night?" You asked as your grab your phone and checked the timing.

"I do have your Mother's permission. I'll have the guest room prepared for you" said Shinichiro.

"Thank you Shin-kun! You're the best!" You praised and wrap your arms around him and kissed his cheek, causing him to blush.

"It's been 3 years and you're still blushing over this?" You teased.

"Oh shut up" You chuckled and Shinichiro's smile suddenly became a frown.

"What's wrong?" You asked.

"I hear something coming from the store" said Shinichiro and your eyes widen.

"I-Is it a b-burglar?" You asked and you followed Shinichiro down to his shop as he grabs a wrench.

"*gasp* You're going to use a weapon?!" You whispered.

"Shh, it's okay. Stay in my room" Shinichiro assured but being a stubborn lady, you continued to follow him down to his shop.

"Who's there? You've got some nerve trying to steal fron my shop" said Shinichiro.

"C-Careful Shin-kun!" You said as Shinichiro moved closer to the robber.

"Hm? You look familiar" Shinichiro suddenly said and just then, you saw a shadowy figure appeared in front of you from behind.

"You're... Keisuke-kun?" Your eyes widen.

"Shin-kun!!!!"

You gasped when you witnessed the scene which happened in front of you. Shinichiro hit the floor with a thud and blood began to spill.

You screamed and ran to his side, trying to stop his wounds while calling out to his name.

"Shin-kun!! Shinichiro!!" You cried as you tear off a piece of your shirt and applied pressure onto his wound but you realized it was his head.

"Shin-kun... K-Keisuke! Call the ambulance!!" You yelled at the young boy who was Mikey's friend.

"Y-Y/N-s-san..." The young boy was completely shaken as you shed tears.

When the police and ambulance arrived, they arrested Mikey's friends while you followed Shinichiro to the hospital but only to hear the news of his death.

"Y/N-san, thanks for coming over" says Mikey.

It's been 2 years since Shinichiro's death. Today is his supposedly birthday... You arrive at the Sano household to clear out Shinichiro's things.

"Are you sure it's really alright?" You ask.

"I'm sure Shin-nii-san must have left something for you" says Mikey as he brings you to Shinichiro's room.

"We didn't really move anything. Just, simple cleaning. Stay as long as you like" says Mikey.

"Thanks Mikey... Where's Emma?" You ask.

"She's hanging out with Draken. Those two are going well and I didn't want to disturb them today so I'll be with Takemitchy today. Bye bye" says Mikey and he left.

After Mikey left, you begin to slowly take a look around Shinichiro's old room which you haven't been in for 2 years since his death.

You went to his table and grab a random book which happen to be his diary. You flip to the first page and immediately it was a photo of you in your high school uniform.

"This... Is me" You mumble.

You flip through the next page which was how you and Shinichiro met for the first time...

1 August 19xx

Today was an odd day. I was riding my bike around the city with Waka and Takeomi when I encountered a strange high school girl whom I accidentally bumped into. Funny thing is, the first thing that caught my attention was her scream which sounded cute...

I asked her "Are you alright?" and she simply replied a "yes" before yelling out she is late which was kind of funny. Waka had asked, "Isn't it summer break now?" and Takeomi replied, saying that that girl probably had summer school and the two begin to reminiscence. 

She had gotten my interest. I then saw her wallet on the ground to which I took a small peek. And then I found out her name, L/N Y/N. She... I hope I can see her again.

You chuckled as you clearly remember that day. You had woke up late for your summer classes and ended up bumping into Shinichiro and his friends. You then flip a few pages as you continue reading, until it reach the part where he confessed to you. 

12 April 19xx

It's been a few months since I met her and today is a big achievement. I manage to confess to Y/N! Well... If it wasn't for Waka and Takeomi... I was afraid of getting rejected after all but... I'm just glad she shared the same feeling as me. And I vow to protect the love of my life.

You smile as you remember how Shinichiro kept stuttering through his confession that day. But you found it cute. You continue reading until it reached the last page, and also his final diary entry which brought tears to your eyes. 

12 August 20xx

I've decided... I want to marry Y/N! I know I can make her happy! But... Will she reject my proposal? That would really be embarrassing and... If she does reject, then I vow not to fall in love ever again... I love Y/N so much that I even prepared an engagement ring for her! Her birthday is next week so that's when I will pop the question. For now, I will hide the ring inside the second drawer. I'm so nervous... Will she accept it?

You quickly open up the second drawer mention in Shinichiro's diary and you see a pink coloured box and open it. You brought your hands to your mouth as you tried holding back the tears. 

"Shin... Of course I'd marry you baka... I love you so much" You cried as you put on the ring to your ring finger.

"Shin-kun... I miss you so much" You place the ring close to your chest as you cry out while indulging in your memories with Shinichiro. 

"Shin... I love you and always will... I-I will take you as by lawfully w-wedded husband. I will take care of you n-no matter what... I-I d-do..." You say an imaginary wedding vow and kiss the ring with a tear falling onto the ring.
