I watched as my father's car stopped at the gate of my friend. They knew i will come here .who is this man am about to marry.?? Why does he have to be this special.
Thenjiwe  : pass pass pass.!!
I said to the driver and he did pass while i hidden my face. I raised it when we passed it behind then he stopped the car.
I wiped my tears taking my bag
Thenjiwe  : i wish life can be easy.
He looked at me with pity eyes. I dont need pity i need help.!
He start the engine again and he drove taking the road i dont think he knows. And the end of the road there was a left corner and that one lead to my house.
I looked at him with tears in my eyes.
Sooner the taxi stopped at the gate. I looked at the gate and saw my aunts and uncles outside the yard but when they saw the taxi they all zoomed it.
Nkululeko  : stay here.
He got off the car and stood at the gate. He took out some notes and put them down on the gate. He then took off his hat and called some clan names which i didnt pay attention to.  My uncles came closer and they exchanged some words. He opened the door for me then helped me out with my school bag.

My uncles feared to look at me when they opened the gate. I walked in and stopped when my aunt approached me.
Dudu : how dare you ru awa...
Uncle themba  : dudusile.!!
I looked behind me and saw as the driver was seating in the taxi looking at me.  I waved my hand and he looked forward starting the engine and left. I closed my eyes and turned to face my aunt as i exhale. Am expecting the usual and my worst.  Am expecting the palm that my cheecks fear heavenly.
I opened my eyes and saw her looking at me with the little fear in her. Did i do something to scare anyone or did anyone die in my absents.
Dudu : go inside your father will be here.

I cant believe this right now. I dont accept to believe this one.!! A young girl while am thirty two.?? Is that legal.??
Banzi : heyy..the groom is here !
He shout as i walked in and i gave them the most evil face i could come up with.
Nkululeko  : niyanghlanyela yini.?

Nkule's aunt  : watch it.!
Nkululeko  : unganginyanyisi wena.!
            ( dont you dare me.!)
They all make noise trying to defend the talk.
Nkule's mom  : whats wrong Nkululeko.?
Nkululeko  : amasimba phela lento nayenza.! Ingane encane pho.!! Really now.!
      (Thats bullshit that you did.! Thats a child.!! )
Banzi : you saw sister in-law.?
Zamo came downstairs with a plain face.
Zamo : i heard that my sister wife ran away. Her sister posted it an hour ago on facebook.
They gasp looking confused.
Nkululeko  : she is back home dont worry about it.
I dont like it when zamo stresses over anything.
Zamo : you saw her.?
Nkululeko  : its a long story.
I walked towards her and took her in my arms.
I got to our room and placed her carefully on the bed.
Zamo : you look worried.
Nkululeko  : she is young mkami.
Zamo : well thats good. She will make good and healthy kids.
She smiled . I kneeled infront of her and held her hand in mines.
Nkululeko  : we can make a plan out of this dont you think.?
She giggled.
Zamo : no.! No Nkululeko.
Her eyes became glassy. I stood up leaving her hand and opened my closet.  I took a towel and walked in the bathroom.
She looked scared to even get married and am sure she doesnt even know what marriage is like. To be married to a man who has a wife. I fear that i might lose the love i have for zamo. Anyway its a waste of her life. I ferl pity for her. She will be married to me but wont be able to vouse her lovefor me.

I walked down the stairs and passed them eating and went to the balcony.
Banzi : i heard you threatened to kill the uncles of sister in-law .
Nkululeko  : she was scared and i knew they would beat her black and blue.
I looked at the black sky as stars shine bright. I wish my life can shine like them with a brught smile.
Banzi  : at least it was her lesson.
I looked at him in disbelief.
Nkululeko  : can you hear your self talk. She is forced into this. She is a little school girl.!
Banzi : was her  mother married at 56 years.?? Thats how women are to us bafo. They should pray to us and bow for us. They should fear us.
Now i understand why that girl said banzi live a fake complicated life. He is an abusive person when it comes to treat a lady.!
Nkululeko  : have heart mtasekhaya.! Kancane nje empilweni yakho ube nenhliziyo .
