Two days later..

MLAMBO HOUSEHOLD.

Zandile 2nd : he will take care of you my baby. You shouldnt worry much about going to school as long as you have him.
Thenjiwe  : i am worried mama.! What will i do in another man's house at my age.?
Zandile 2nd : there is nothing i can do nana..
Thenjiwe  : who am i getting married to then. Am sure i can talk to him out of this.
Zandile 2nd : he said we shouldnt tell.
Thenjiwe  : why.?? I want to fix this mama. I can live my life under a shadow can i.??
I wiped my tears and i heard people making noise outside. I stood up and took a perk out the window and i saw some strange people coming in with many cows.
Thenjiwe  : stop this please maa.! I dont want to get married i dont.
I broke down in tears begging my mother since i was the one with her in my room. I was locked in here ever since i tried to escape .
Thenjiwe  : this has to stop. We cant be controlled by men like this. Mother help me fight for my future please. Ngine sfiso maa.!! I grew up in your hands and you have to make a decision of my marriage.  You cant allow me to get married mother please.!

She looked at me and brushed away her tears.
Zandile 2nd : i stick with my husband on this decision.

I sat there at the corner of my room hugging my knees to my chest. I should stop crying and accept defeat. They refused to tell me the man behind all this trauma am passing through. They refused to decline this lobola day and here they are celebrating outside.
My father went after money and thats clear to everyone. This past two days i was locked in here and they also refused that i go to school and continue my studies. I worked hard to reach grade 12.! All the work i did for the past years in some of my grades made me feel special and they want to take that down the drain.
Some women walked in and put what they had on their hands on my bed. I looked away till they left.
Zandile 2nd : your aunts brought you gifts. The nyathi and us are now family all because of you. You are a diamond in this family thenjiwe. Ntombikayise..bo dladla abakhulu mlambo. Mfazi wodumo.!! Ayililililili.!!!
She smiled making me more irritated.
Thenjiwe  : from this day. I dont have a mother and a father. Am an orphan. All because of this marriage.
My two step mothers walked in and took my mother out.

Nkule's dad : even if you hate me that much at least you could've had a heart for my child.
Zamo : i didnt want him to know the truth.
Nkule's dad  : then why kill the only child he was expecting.?
Zamo : because i love you.
Nkule's dad  : you killed me. Thats not love ! You will pay for this.!!
Zamo : am sorry but you were going to tell your wife about us.!
Nkule's dad  : you will PAY for this.!! You will pay..
He was getting closer and closer while i screamed my lungs out.

Nkululeko  : zamo.!! Nomzamo.!!
I opened my eyes and saw Nkululeko.  I hugged him and looked around. It was a terrible dream. Why would i dream of him..no maybe am overthinking so much.
Nkululeko  : what was the dream about.?
I kept quite looking around.
What did i bring on myself.?? I loved him so much but yet married to his son. Its all his fault too. I told him to make me his second wife before i met Nkululeko but he refused.!! He said am harsh over things look at it now. I loved Kenneth so much but..
Nkululeko  : sthandwa sami.!!
Zamo : huh.??
Nkululeko  : whats wrong with you.?
Zamo : nothing. Shouldnt you be at work.?
Nkululeko  : its the lobola day so i decided to stay back.
Zamo : ohh..mxm how did i forget about this. I should also be preparing a room for her welcome Tommorrow.
Nkululeko  : abo lwazi..
Zamo : dont let lwazi and his gay friends prepare my sister wife's room. I want to do it myself. Its my duty to welcome him with both my hands.
Nkululeko  : it looks like i just got a husband for you mkami. You talk about her more than me this days.
I giggled.
Zamo : we might be friends when i see her.
