Like Wonderland

Tempting Time

      I wake up early in the morning ready to pack for my adventure, but unready to say goodbye to my siblings and parents.
      There isn't much I actually know about the human realm, only currency and laws. I don't plan on doing anything illegal during my time there but you never know.

      Packing is a totally different story, I don't know what humans wear, or how to fit in. I'm definitely going shopping when we get there. Lesedi is going with me, that I'm happy for.
      I don't know what I would do without her, she's my best friend. She has long brown wavy hair that reaches her lower back, and dark eyes that can pierce your soul. I love how intimidating she is.

"Lesedi, what are you packing for the trip?"

      "Just essentials like, my daggers, sword, bow, battle axe, andddd hmmm seems I'm missing something"

"You're missing your pendent, you know our disguises are in those. And also maybe some clothing"

      "Shit your right, it's in my music box, let me get it really quick"

      Les walks out of my room to get her pendant (and hopefully some clothes), I sit with my thoughts. I'm soon going to be leaving my family and going on the adventure I've longed for, I'm going to miss my family and the good byes are going to be very hard to get through.

      I finish my packing and get my favorite pair of shoes, white platforms with gold details, and a matching dress.

      I quickly get dressed and make my way downstairs with my bags, ready to spend my last day with my family. I've already planned the day, horse riding with Vaegon, painting with Auraea, fencing with Jaerionn, cello with Visaemon, and baking with Kae.
      I will be spending time with my mother, practicing my abilities, and will be in the last meeting with my father until I am Queen.

"Vaegon are you ready for our horse riding hour?"

      "Yeah yeah, I'm always ready you should know this"
As cocky as ever young brother.
"Well then let's go slow poke"

      "I am not slow! Jaerionn! Aelorya keeps calling me slow"
"Then stop being slow brother" Jerionn will have fun taking over while I'm gone, especially since he never gets to do the stuff I do.

"Vaegon hurry! I'll race you!"
      "Aelorya wait uppp"

      Vaegon finally decides to get on his horse, Dionysus. Whilst I'm already on mine, Thorn. We ride all over the kingdom and into the Celestial woods to try and track a Turtle-Duck, but as soon as the hour started its over and we head back home.

      Painting with a 10 year old is fun, you see a different perspective maybe even one from when you yourself were younger. Auraea is a talented painter and has such an imagination, she paints a willow tree with a small pond infront of it, while I paint a Komodo-Rhino.
      One of my favorite animals, an animal we used to ride into war but now have us help make big deliveries. I dreadfully have to end my time with Auraea but happy i got to spend some with her alone.

      Jaerionn has always been competitive, we don't use our wings when we fence simply because it would get out of hand, especially with us competing against eachother. I'm sad to leave him with our younger siblings, im sure he could deal with that, but there is something he can't deal with, mother's who want him to marry their kid.
      He always hides behind me when they came around during our balls, but now he can't hide anymore (good luck to him).

      Fencing was fun with Jaerionn, and as much as I want to keep winning against him I have other siblings to spend time with.
      Cello is one of the instruments our parents made us all learn including violin, harp, piano, flute and guitar. Me and Visaemon have always loved playing together, making new music, and competing against eachother. We love to play Cello suite No. 1, prelude. And Cello Sonata No. 1.

      I am skilled in other things like ballet, ice skating, acrobatics, and most dances. Visaemon has always preferred cello to most instruments and skills that he has. Me and Visaemon sit across from eachother as we play for the hour, then it's over.

      Kae has alwaysed loved baking and cooking with our chefs always wanting to make new recipes and try new things, I'm happy all my siblings have chosen something they love to do and continue to do it.
      Kae somehow convinces me to help him make macaroons, we have tried making them before and failed sadly but I'm hoping we make them correctly this time.

      We finish baking them and somehow still have time to decorate them with small 'love yous', and 'missing you' messages throughout them. As we are taking them put to the dinner table for our fairly early last dinner.
