Goodbye For Now

      spending time with my mother was another thing, we always use our abilities to the fullest. But surprisingly tonight my mother changed her plans, wanting to stroll the garden with me and tell me about her time in Arcadia Oaks.

      "Darling I want you to know that Arcadia Oaks is not any normal town. It's different" hopefully telling me what's wrong with the town won't change my mind on leaving.

"What's so different about it mother?" Although I am sort of scared to ask this question I need to know.

      "I'm not going to let up much but I can tell you what to expect, there will be certain decisions you will have to make; ones neither your father or I will be there to help you. I'm asking you to be careful, these are the same warning I gave Lesedi. You will have your house, it's rather big and should work for you both, and you will be going to human school."

"I understand mother, although you haven't told me much about your time in the human realm" I need more insight on what to expect hopefully she'll let on.

      "My time there was one of the most freeing times of my life, I enjoyed it but I prefer to be here, with my children."

      Not much but it'll have to do. Me and mother spend more time talking about the humans and there ways of life, apparently Lesedi and I will need to get something called a "job". The last thing I have to do today is the meeting with my father and the elders, we're trying to find a way to stop the over population of Buzzard-Wasps.

      "My king we must find a way to stop the over population of Buzzard-Wasps, they are stealing our food and ruining our crops" Marcel, one of the elders speaks.

      "Aelorya I want you to put your opinion in this special predicament, you've been with Buzzard-Wasps up close and know more of the animal than us" my father speaks

"Um well, we could relocate them. To the far side of the isle near the desert, there's plenty food for them to be stable and enough predators for the population to not rise vastly"

      "Princess as much as that could work, they are violent towards us we would never be able to get them a foot infront of us, nevertheless across the isle." Another elder spoke, Titos.

"A mix of Lavander and Aloe Vera, it creates a scent that immediately makes them fall into a deep sleep"

      While they all agree or disagree on the topic my father sends me a smile and wink as a 'good job'. They eventually came to an agreement, we would take a third of the Buzzard-Wasp population and take them across the isle for the better of the forest and us.

      Our early dinner finally came around and it was the loudest dinner we've had in a while. Vaegona and Kae were arguing about who would hug me goodbye first, while Auraea talked to mother about our paintings we did today, Jaerionn, Visaemon and father talk about the Buzzard-Wasp infestation.
      I sit there soaking up my last dinner with my family for a long while, I will miss them dearly. Lesedi is currently spending her last day with her family and said she would meet me at the portal.
      As dinner comes to an end the tears start to flow, Kae won the argument and hugged me first before my journey. Mother and father look so happy so proud, Jaerionn hugs me goodbye and refuses to cry even though we all can tell he wants to.

      Vaegon, Visaemon and Auraea hug me and say their goodbyes, Lesedi meets me near the portal already on her horse with all her bags and me with my horse and bags.

      "Ready?" Of course Lesedi had to ask

"No. But, let's go." I reply with butterflies in my stomach
