Sitting in a Principals office was not something Wednesday Addams enjoyed doing. Especially not one that belonged to a school her parents were forcing her to go to. Wednesday hated the idea of going to this school, but as it turns out she didn't exactly have a choice.

"Wednesday is certainly a unique name." Larissa Weems said, the british accent thick aa she spoke. "I'm guessing it was the day of the week you were born?"

"I was born of Friday the 13th." Wednesday deadpanned, not interested in participating in small talk.

"Her name comes from a line from my favourite nursery rhyme. Wednesday's child is full of woe." Wednesday's mother, Morticia Addams, added.

Weems directed her gaze at the woman with a forced smile, "You always had a unique perspective of the world, Morticia."

Morticia hummed in satisfaction, the tension between the two woman filling the room in seconds. It was clear that they had a history, but it looked like they didn't part ways on good terms.

"Did your mother tell you we were roommates back in the day?" Weems looked back at Wednesday with a smile, though it wasn't completely sincere.

"And you graduated with your sanity intact? Impressive." Wednesday said and the room fell into an awkward silence, no one really knowing what to say after that. Morticia's smirk faded away at her daughters words, her stern gaze falling on her daughter.

"You certainly had a very educational journey." Weems looked down at the records in front of her, attempting to change the topic. Eight schools were listed on the papers beneath Wednesday Addams name. " Eight schools in five years."

"They haven't build one strong enough to hold me. I bet this place won't be any different." Wednesday responded, while her father smiled proudly beside her. In Gomes Addams' eyes, his daughter could do no wrong and he was unconditionally proud of her.

Gomez Addams cut in for the first time since they sat down, adding a little gratitude in Wednesday's place. "I believe what our daughter is trying to say is that she greatly appreciates the opportunity."

Weems paused, her eyes remaining on the papers in front of her. "Nevermore doesn't usually accept students mid-term, but given Wednesday's perfect grades and your family's long history with the school, I've spoken to the board nod we've made an exception."

Wednesday stared into empty space, despising the words that left the principal's mouth. Her last hope of not going to this school were crushed and now she had to come up with her own escape plan. She obviously couldn't stay here, so that would be her only option.

Morticia let go of her husbands hand after the two had shared a brief moment of relief, and turned back to the tall woman. "Larissa, what about Wednesday's, um.. therapy sessions? The court ordered them."

Weems hummed, "Hmm. The school has a relationship with a therapist in Jericho. She. An meet twice a week."

"Did you hear that, my little storm cloud? You're in excellent hands." Wednesday heard her father say behind her, but Wednesday had no intention of returning the excitement.

"We'll see if she survives the first session."

The room filled with silence once more, Principal Weems unsure what to respond to Wednesday's comments.
