Chapter 2: October Introductions and Reunion

October 30, 1984

School day again, and I am sure Steve is not awake. I could hear Tory from downstairs calling us out.

"Guys, breakfast!"

We are back again alone, my parents aren't around much. Even if I lost in the Upside Down for a few moments. They didn't care about my safety, or that I lost Eleven to the Demogorgon. It's nearly a year.

I take a seat at the table, getting 2 slices of bacon. And a cup of water near the utensils. I ate my breakfast, with Tory goes up the stairs to call Steve. Gosh, he couldn't wake up. Not much of a morning person, since he came back with Nancy.

Later he came down, with his hair still messed up. I finished my breakfast, and I go back upstairs to brush my teeth. Washed my mouth, and kept it clean. We leave the house, I walked to Steve. Hoping that I could use my bike instead of going with him in his car.

"Hey, Steve. Can I now use my bike. Seems boring with your driving,"

I said, and he shook his head.

"No, you are not going to use your bike. Okay?"

"Why?"

"It's, for your own Lili,"

Tory says from the back. I look at her.

"Now? You're defending him? You now sound like Mom right now,"

I said, referring to mom again with my dad. I don't know what the two of them are doing.

"Okay, forget about Mom. Just get in the car, I have to get with Nancy,"

I sighed and walked inside the car. Tory enters the car with her bag and Steve is in the driver's seat. Nancy will be sitting beside him.

"Nancy again. I know you are with her again. But when can I return to biking?"

Steve looks at me.

"Only when things start to get safe, and avoiding the boys at all costs,"

Referring to Mike again. I mean, most of them except for Will.

"I know Steve, I have not been talking to them recently. And with Nancy, I just want to go on my own. Often we girls would get in the car, and then Nancy. At one point, both of you would make out and some shit that I,"

Steve cuts me off.

"Hey, hey, hey. What have I told you? Don't tell Nancy about this. Okay, and about you. Last time I know was nearly the last year. You allowed a stranger to your room,"

Now he is shitting with Eleven.

"Then go somewhere else with the boys, get into trouble. And the week the Byers boy goes back from the dead. Both you and the missing girl,"

Tory cuts him off, he has to think about Nancy right now.

"Steve, stop it. Worried about Nancy? Do that first,"
