We are reviewing for our lesson, while Nancy is answered on a fake answer sheet. I am putting down my notes, trying to solve the answers without an answer sheet. More of an oral exam.

Then Nancy walks off her table, I looked at her and went near the sharpener. I returned to my notes, reviewing for the next subject. Steve then leaves our table, I follow him suit and go to Nancy, looking at someone with familiar red hair. Steve taps her sholuder.

"Nancy,"

He calls, she is looking at us. Looking frozen.

"What's going on? Are you okay?"

She looks at the same girl and we share a look. It is nobody, she might be similar to anyone. We return to our seats and then finish our review.

Later, Nancy brings the both of us to a closed room in the library. With a lamp being the light illuminating the room. She starts talking

"I can't keep doing this,"

"Doing what?"

Steve asks. I am concerned what is the problem here.

"Pretending like everything's okay,"

Is it about Barb. I mean, everything has not been okay with what happened. Not only Barb, but almost everything has changed since last year.

"What are you talking about?"

Steve asks, this is about Barb.

"Barbara. It's like everyone forgot. It's like nobody cares. Except her parents, and now they're selling their house,"

I hope someday I would pay them back for Barb's family. For what I did not, and failed to protect their daughter at that night.

"Nance,"

We huffed, she doesn't stop.

"And they're going to spend the rest of their lives looking for her,"

I am trying to ease the situation, while Steve is pretending that he cared about Barb. I touched her arm, trying to soften the situation.

"I know,"

That is what Steve keeps saying.

"It's destroying them,"

"I know, I know. Okay? I get it. But listen, there's nothing we can do about it,"

Steve saying that awful statement.

"Yeah, we could tell them the truth,"

Nancy suggests.

"Well, you know that we can't do that,"

"Steve, we can do that. All we have to do is plan something,"
