Foxes and Ferrets

**I know practically nothing about either animal, so don't trust everything on here**

*Hyunjin pov*

I walk out of the building to my car. Overtime sucks. Rain is falling, drenching me. I shiver, and turn the car on. The streets look really gloomy today, although that might just be because of the pouring rain. After parking, I walk quickly to a cafe. Hopefully a drink will warm me up.

"Minsung's Cafe?" I read. (Don't criticize me for the name. I wasn't feeling creative.)

I enter, get a cracker, and sit down at a booth while I wait for my tea.

"One hot Oolong Tea for Hyunjin." the voice alerts me.

I grab my drink and rush back out into the rain. I fall into a brisk walk back to my car as I don't want to get even more drenched than I already am. On the way to the parking lot, I hear small whimpers coming from a dark alleyway. Abandoning my common sense, I quickly run to the source of the sound and see a small fox kit huddling in a box. There seems to be a gash on it's leg, and matted blood on it's fur.

I cautiously reach for the pup. It looks up, teeth bared. I sigh, and look for something that will help it trust me. Remembering, I take out the cracker I bought and place it gently in front of the animal. It looks at me warily before going to sniff the food. I wait as it starts to eat. This time, when I put out my hand, the fox doesn't hiss at me. I lift it up, watching in order to not touch it's wounds, and run back to my forgotten car.

**Time skip to when he's home**

I set it on a towel I've placed on the couch. I search through my house to find something to clean the animal up. Reaching into my bathroom cabinet, I find the antiseptic wipes. I take them out, along with a roll of bandages.

The fox looks at me as I walk up to it's spot on the couch. I open a packet of wipes and gently touch the wound on it's leg. It whimpers, but doesn't try to bite me. Once the wound is cleaned up, I wrap it with the bandages. When I turn the lights off to go to my room, I hear louder whines. Sighing, I take the animal and place it next to me on my bed. It snuggles into the pillow and quickly falls asleep. I observe it before settling into sleep as well.
