WARNINGS: Smut (again i'm sorry), jealousy, angst, public s3X
A mix of traditional and modern Wakandan music was playing, the beats vibrating the huge room. Colourful lights flickered around, some people even wearing glow sticks around themselves, dancing through the dark. It was an underground club in Wakanda, one of the best. It was loved for it's unique architecture, rocking both the old traditional cave-like walls while having bits of the places modernised, suited to today's world. Shuri always loved this club but never gotten the chance to go to because of work but today, she finally had the luxury of freedom and decided to head down there, with Okoye and Ayo by her side. She had her braided hair up in a bun, shiny earrings that dangled around. She wore a black suit with a grey-ish blouse inside that was half buttoned.
Now, they were all having fun, dancing and singing along to the songs being played. What they didn't know was that they had a visitor. A familiar guest and someone that Shuri is head over heels for.
You.
You entered the bustling, crowded, club and squeezed your way through the people, trying to get to the bar at the very end of the room. Maybe it was a bad idea coming here, you thought to yourself, feeling suffocated from the amount of people in here. You came to Wakanda for a meeting with the king, T'Challa, and was staying overnight for another briefing tomorrow morning. You were told to enjoy your time while you were here and that this club was apparently one of the best place to have fun. The beauty of this place was astonishing, of course but you were just a little tired and drained from the flickering lights. Now you were thinking if it was a bad decision.
Finally, you made it out and onto the high stools of the bar, getting a drink to calm yourself down. You looked around as you wait, taking in the beautiful environment.
Shuri was dancing at the other end of the room that was closest to the DJ, laughing and giggling. That's until she saw you at the stool alone, sitting so beautifully with your red silky dress that you have donned. Her heart skipped a beat as she scanned you, seeing if her eyes were playing tricks on her. It was really you. She wanted to up to say hi but suddenly, you were approached by another woman who had their hands on your back, talking to you delightfully. You seemed to return the same energy back, laughing at every sentence she says.
Is this what jealousy feels like? Shuri and you have always been just friends. Best friends you could say. You were the one person that's not from Wakanda she loves having around and she even gets out of her way by going out of Wakanda to visit you frequently, trying to make this friendship work. However, she fell for you hard and although she knew telling you wasn't a good idea, she just likes your company. You make everything feel okay for her. The only thing was, she couldn't control who you talked to or flirted with. Right now, if you were together with her, she would've been able to just walk right up, kiss you on the lips in front of that woman and claim you as her own. Her lover. Yet she can't do that because you're not hers to begin with. Anger and jealousy filled her blood, as she started downing the alcohol on the table next to her.
She started talking louder and louder, in hopes you would've been able to hear her and run away from that woman and to her arms. Nothing happened.
From one bottle became three and eventually she got too drunk, talking incoherently. She couldn't even understand some of the words that came out of her own mouth. Okoye and Ayo knew something was wrong and that she has had enough for today. "Princess, I think you have enough fun. Shall we head back to the palace?" Okoye asked with concern in her voice.
"No! I...I haven't yet to have fun. I need more fun!" Shuri shouted, still trying to gain your attention as she just watched you from afar, being seduced by someone else. She started kneeling down and tearing up, probably overwhelmed by all these emotions and her drunken state isn't helping. The people around her area realized and stopped their dancing, watching as Shuri breaks down in the club. They all knelt down to her level, trying to comfort her but Okoye shielded the crying princess, not letting anyone touch her.
