 Episode 12

Jinhee groaned as she shifted on her bed feeling uncomfortable with the hungover as soon as she woke up. She lifted herself up from the bed only to find Jimin sleeping near her feet. 'Was he sleeping here all night? In that position?' She glanced at the table clock on the bedside table, it was 5.00 in the morning. Her body clock made her wake up as always although she was not feeling well. Jinhee slid out of the blanket and kneeled beside Jimin.

Jimin, to her, was an angel.

He came to her life when she was hopeless and didn't know what else to do. He was a boon, and now it was her responsibility to take care of him and return the favor. Jinhee raised her hand and gently stroke Jimin's soft fluffy hair, her tired gaze slowly moved down from his hair to his beautiful face as she admired her husband's sleeping face.

"You like it?"

Jimin mumbled as he slowly holds on Jinhee's hand which was patting his head. Jinhee gasped in surprise as Jimin woke up from his sleep. "Jimin-ssi-?"

"Hm? You didn't reply to me yet..." his voice was lower than usual, that damn seductive morning voice that can make your heart flutter. Not to forget his half-closed eyes which were now looking straight into Jinhee's wide ones. "You...look so beautiful, Is this a dream?" He whispered as he brought Jinhee's hand close to his lips, gently resting it on his cheek. "This is a dream...right?"

Jinhee blinked. She wanted to snap him out of his thoughts and pull him back to reality, but she knew, it would only embarrass him, but seeing him sleep talk was actually so cute. She smiled as she rested her head on the bed as well, sitting beside him. "Yeah, it is."

"Thank god." He chuckled. "I didn't want you to think I am a weirdo...." Jinhee giggled as she caressed his cheek.

"You are not an weirdo Jimin-ssi. You are an angel. My savior. I seriously owe you too much that I don't even know how to pay you..." Jinhee's gaze lowered as she sadly pout. Her head felt heavy from drinking too much last night. She could barely remember what happened last night. Everything was hazy. But she knew she was in safe hands. Jimin was by her side. She never felt so safe before. Slowly Jinhee was starting to rely on Jimin, trust him. She was trying to know him better, after all they were definitely married on papers.

"An angel? Me?" Jimin slurred, he smiled and let go of Jinhee's hand. "I doubt it. I am not an angel...not after." Jimin mumbled incoherently before groaning. "I know I am going to regret this so much." He sighed.

'Regret what?' Jinhee wondered as she looked at Jimin confused, his voice was barely audible as they were both whispering, and the headache wasn't really helping her to focus on her husband. She squinted her eyes trying not to fall asleep again, scooting closer, she cupped Jimin's cheek again to gain his attention. "W-what is it?" she asked, "Do you regret marrying me?" she asked nervously.

"No." Jimin closed his eyes. "I was ...." He led out a sigh before smiling. "It's nothing...I am just drunk."

"......" Jinhee stared at him knowing he was lying and was hiding something behind that smile. "What is it?"

"It's just a dream, right?"

"Y-yeah....it is." Jinhee smiled as he watched Jimin snuggling into her warm palm. "You can tell me, what is it?" she asked again, trying not to fall back asleep again.

"You want to know so bad, don't you?" Jimin slightly opened his sleepy eyes and smiled. He leaned in, so carefully. Breathing and not breathing. They were so close that Jinhee could hear his heart thump against his chest. Or was it hers? He was so close that Jinhee couldn't feel her legs anymore. Even her fingers or the cold or the sudden silence of the room.

"Can I kiss you?"

He asked so politely, still thinking this was all a stupid dream. Well, one of his stupid dreams. Jinhee's eyes drifted down from his hazel orbs to his soft plump lips to back up to his eyes, locking their gaze. "Jimin-ssi..."

He swallows, hard, his chest heaved as he leaned closer, Jinhee could feel his warm breath hitting her face, as he stopped a few centimeters away from her lips. "If this is a dream...wake me up Jinhee-ah...I don't...want to cross the limits." He whispered and rested his head on Jinhee's shoulder. "I am so.... I am so..." Jimin's words muffled as he snuggled into her neck, slowly shutting his eyes close, falling back to sleep.

Jinhee was shocked. What just happened? She wondered as she glanced at the young man resting his head on her shoulder. She was confused. What was that? Was he drunk and was talking nonsense in his stance?

But again...how could it be nonsense? Jinhee wasn't dumb. She wasn't a noob either. The way Jimin looked at him and his behavior around Jinhee, everything was screaming just one thing.

He was in love.

Just like how Jinhee was once, back in past.

To eachother.

They were the right person but in wrong timing.

Yoongi's POV

It was Sunday so hyung asked me to meet with him secretly in a café far from the people we knew. Being famous didn't help much as Jin hyung was one of the richest businessmen in South Korea. I sat down by the big glass window and stared out at the people passing by. It only reminded me the first day I met her.

Hwang Jinhee.

I wonder what happened to her after I left. Hyung never mentioned about her in the past year. Whenever I asked about Jinhee, hyung would change topic or just reply in yes or no as if he also didn't want us to go back together. Well...who would? I left her all of a sudden when she needed me the most.

She must hate me so much. But all I want is her happiness. If.... only if I could...for once see her with my own eyes and ensure her state, I'd be able to live the rest of my life in peace.

"Huh? Y-Yoongi hyung?"

I stopped my thought process and turned around to the person who called out my name. The voice was so familiar just as the familiar face infront of me.

"You-...?"
