"Strange weather events have been happening across the world in short periods of time. Mamatus clouds appearing for several days at a time, bush fires in extremely windy conditions causing firenados, colored rain, ball lightning, extreme change in temperature, giant hailstones and consist darkness for days on end and the list goes on. Nothing similar to this has ever been reported. Could this be the end of the world as we know it?"

I sighed as this was the only thing on the news and in the newspapers right now. I opened my phone to see no new messages or notifications but only another BBC news alert. I decided to go and get changed out of my usual attire of track suit bottoms and crop top and actually go outside for the first time in like three days. My aunts house was actually seeming more dreadful then I actually thought.

My friends were all about 400 miles away and there was nothing to do in plain sight. The only thing I could think of to do was go on a walk. I pulled on my doc martens and took my denim jacket from the rack and walked out of the glass patio front door. Once I reached the end of the drive I decided to walk towards the main town instead of the mountain route which didn't really look appealing right now and i'd rather not walk alone.

As I walked through the quite alleys in the town I realized I really didn't fit in here. Me and my stretchers, silvery ombre hair, black skinny jeans, boots and monster energy drink were standing out compared to the middle aged women in their pastel blue knit jumpers, brown trousers and pale yellow slip ons sipping their tea. I felt rather intimated by the people surrounding me and decided it would probably just be best to walk back home. Or what was my home for the mean time.

I arrived back to an empty house as per usual. The house was eerily quiet which I really didn't like. I plugged my phone into my dock on the stand in the living room to fill the emptiness and I decided to retrieve my guitar which I only bought here to encourage me to play it more. I walked out onto the front porch which overlooked the nearby village and had an amazing view of miles and miles of forest and fields.

I sat on the edge of the steps and began to strum along to the tune of 'bloodstream' by Ed Sheeran which i'd learned only a few weeks ago. I slowly began to get lost in the rhythm of the song and belt out the lyrics. I was suddenly interrupted out of my little daydream when I heard a male voice singing along with me. I looked up to see a dirty blonde haired very muscular 6 foot man dressed in head to foot in black. I let out a little scream at his surprising presence which made him flinch. We stared at each other for what felt like an eternity but was actually about 20 seconds. They say you have to look at a person for roughly 7 seconds to call it love at first sight.  Like any of that was real though. I could not fall for someone again no. Not after last time.

"Sorry I heard you playing and I just thought I'd see where it was coming from. I really like that song. He's a great artist." "Um its fine you just scared me and yeah I guess he is." I did not even have to ask to tell he was not from this country but I just could not tell where and what he was doing somewhere like this I don't even know. He said he lived next door in the wood cabin which im guessing was the strange one my aunt warned about. I could not really explain I felt a weird attraction to this guy lie he was pulling me in and I had no choice but to obey.

"My names Ashton by the way! What's your name?" I moved my guitar of my lap and placed it on the chair next to me so I could stand up." Trouble." He looked slightly confused but I knew as soon as I told him my name he'd want to get involved with me and that was not a good idea. I reached for my guitar case and he must of seen my nirvana shirt as he then complimented me on it and said how much he liked them. As much as I didn't want to I knew what we had already was something dangerous and complex.
