Crowley sighs, "Just as I suspected. Nothing. This place is not on any of my maps. Or in any of the history books. Now, are you QUITE sure that you come from such a place? That wasn't some sort of lie, or jape?" I make an offended noise and face. I state, "Why would I lie to you about something like this?! I truly want to return home." Crowley continues, "Because if so, the only explanation is that you've come from another planet. Or perhaps you were summoned here from another dimension?" I reply, "It could be another world or dimension I guess ..." Crowley demands, "Show me everything that you brought here with you. Do you have some form of identification, a driver's license perhaps? Or even a name on a shoe? You do seem a tad bit ... empty-handed" I shake my head no, "Normally, I don't have much, but the only things I have right now is the robe and uniform under it."
Crowley states, "Well, this is quite the predicament. I cannot have someone with no aptitude for magic bumbling about my magic academy. And yet, as an educator, I am loath to expel a young person without a cent to their name, or any ability to contact their guardian... Truly, my grace is boundless." He thinks for a moment, "Hmmmmm ... Ah! There is a vacant building on this campus. It was, in fact, used as a dorm a long time ago. With a proper cleaning, it should be habitable enough. Out of the profound kindness of my heart, I will allow you to live there for the time being" He thinks for a moment, "Hmm ... Yes, yes. In the meantime, we will investigate other ways to send you home. Dear me, but I am a gracious man indeed! A model educator, one might say. Well then, I shall take you to your dorm straight away. It is an older building, but it has plenty of ... character, one might say."
We walk off campus in front of a crooked gate with dim lights. Beyond the gate was a plot of land surrounded by mist, with dangling trees with cobwebs in the branches. The headmaster opens the gate, and it lets out an ear-piercing squeak. The both of us flinch at the noise. He motions to a very run-down two-story house. Crowley quips, "Nothing a little oil can't fix" The house itself has holes in the roof, the paint peeling off the walls, and the house itself looks haunted. I reply, "That's ... a lot of ... charm." He quickly encourages you with, "Yes, yes, now step inside. It looks like the rain is approaching." He shuffles you inside. Once inside I ask, "Will you provide the materials needed then? Or tell me where I could get a job?" He ignores me and I look around and see that there is a fireplace intact, the walls intact, furniture turned over, spiderwebs and cobwebs, creaky yet sturdy floorboards, and the large window in the back is closed and in place. There were also planks of wood laying around.
Crowley states, "This should keep the elements at bay! Now I should get back to doing my research! Now, make yourself at home, AND don't go wandering around the campus. Goodbye!" He quickly walks away. I stare for a few seconds and find the chairs and couch overturned. I flip the chairs and couch around and put the robe on the couch. I go around the first floor and pick up all of the loose planks and put them in a pile by the stairs. I walk up the stairs and see if there are any broom closets with any cleaning supplies, and I found that there was one near the back of the hallway. I grab all the cleaning supplies and move them to the entrance hall with multiple trips. I sweep the entranceway, and the hallway. As I was cleaning the hallway there were a few times that I passed through a cold drafty area, but I didn't pay too much attention to it.
I started to sweep the dust out, get the cobwebs with a duster, and then I head into the kitchen. Once I am in the kitchen, I check the fridge and clean out any rotten food, and I check to see if there is any running water. Luckily both the water and electricity seem to work. I walk back into the entrance area take the rug and shake the dust off it outside. I walk back inside and lay out the carpet.
It starts to heavily downpour with a thunderstorm outside, with water dropping into the room. I sigh, "Looks like it's started to rain, ... Great the roof leaks." I get startled when I suddenly hear this, "GWAH! It's pouring out there!" I spin around to where the voice was, and I see grim there. I must have had a startled expression on my face because grim mocked me with, "Bwahaha! That look on your face is priceless! Like a bat that got blasted by a water gun!" I ask, "What ARE you doing here? And how did you get away from those students, anyway?" He replies with, "As if I wouldn't just sneak back onto campus the second, I escaped pryin' eyes." He put his paw on his hip and continues, "You all got no idea what I'm capable of!" I mutter, "Whatever ... Why do you even want to go here anyway?" He replies solemnly, "Well, that's simple. I am a genius destined to become the greatest mage in the world! ... I've been waiting for the carriage to come to pick me up every day, but ..." He grumbles, "The Dark Mirror doesn't have an eye for this, Anyways, that's why I'm here. It would be a loss to mankind if this school doesn't accept me." I say sarcastically, "A shame ..." I sigh and murmur, "How ... Determined ... If only I had some when it truly mattered ... oh well, that's fate I suppose ..."
