<7 AM>

I slowly opened my eyelids, vision blurry. The cracks of sunlight laying on top of their blanket, along with Grim still snoring. I nudge Grim with my hand stating, "Hey, Grim, it's time to wake up." Grim drooled sleepily, "Unnnn ... munyaaa ... Five more minutes ..." The three ghosts came into my room and states, "Heeheehee ... Shouldn't you be up and cleaning soon? Wake up, Sleepyheads!" Grim panics with, "Aaaack, The Ghosts are back!" I just hum and pick up the clothes from yesterday, minus the robe. Phineas tells us, "Oh beware, if you're going to be living here, you will be pranked ..." Gus states, "Be on the lookout for us and pranks ..." Crowley walks in and says, "Good morning, you two. I have brought you breakfast and a change of clothes for you, Miss Y/n."

I say to Grim, "Just let me get dressed first, okay?" Grim grumbles, "Yeah, yeah." Once Grim closes the door, I change into the pants and boots of the ceremonial robes and grab a white button-up shirt. [Crowley gave me a very ripped pair of pants and a shirt that had a ton of holes in it. It would make you look homeless or look like a beggar.] Once I walk down into the kitchen, I see there was breakfast already made. Ezra states, "As long as you provide us ingredients, we can cook for ya' young'un." I reply, "Thanks, but I do need to practice my cooking a little."

Crowley states after we finish eating, "So, did you have a good sleep?" I answer, "Yeah, one of the better nights I had." Grim complains, "Oh, sure. I was nice and cozy until I almost fell through the floorboards. Just how Ramshackle did you let this place get?" Crowley states, "Ahaha! So cheeky ...! Even after being dumped here from another world ... That indomitable spirit shall serve you well!" Crowley continues with, "Today, I would like you to clean Main Street from the main gate to the library if you please. Understood? You may use the cafeteria for lunch," I say, "Yes, sir." Crowley adds, "And Miss L/n, I am entrusting you to keep an eye on Grim so he doesn't run amok like last night." I add hesitantly, "I'll try my best, sir ..." He disappears once he says goodbye

After Crowley leaves, Grim huffs, "No way I'm doing any cleaning. I'm here to study magic so I can be blastin' spells left and right! Like BOOM! POW! FWOOM! " I state, "I doubt this school will be what you said, though. Nonetheless, once we've finished, we could head to the library so you could learn new spells or a way to get me back home. Oh, if you do call me your underling make sure you use male terms." Grim didn't understand why, but it looks like he will comply with my terms.

The both of us walk over to the main street, and we see seven stone statues with plaques on them. Grim gasps, "Uwaah! Amazing! So, this is Main Street. I didn't get to see much of it yesterday. What's the deal with these seven statues?" I sigh, "Come on, Grim, we need to clean, remember? Can you do the top of the statues?" He takes the cleaning solution and starts to work on some of the statues. I sweep all the leaves around the street; I look over to Grim and see that he finished cleaning the one with Octopus legs. I go to grab another rag to start cleaning some of the other statues, and I hear grim ask, "Hey Henchman, who's the smug-looking Auntie here?" I look over to the statue with the heart statue, and then I hear someone ask, "You don't know the Queen of Hearts?"

I turn around and see a boy with ginger hair, red eyes, a smile on his face, and a heart tattoo over his right eye. I motion to Grim to get closer to me, and thankfully he listens. Grim asks, "'The Queen of Hearts'? Is she important?"  The boy explains, "In the past, she was the queen who lived in the Rose Maze. She was someone who valued rules and discipline above all, strict in all things— from the march of the Card Soldiers to the color of the rose bushes. It was a land of madness where all submit to her rule."

Ace explained before smirking a little as he said his next few words. "... And why, you might ask? Why should everyone submit to her rule? Well ... it was either obedience ... or it was off with your head!" Grim cries out, "Th-That's terrifying!" The boy states, "Really? I like it. I think it's kinda cool. I mean, who would bother to obey a queen that was kind all the time?" Grim agrees by stating, "Yeah, true. A strong leader is better than one who's all talk." I state out loud, "You would have to be careful though, if you are under a rule of a tyrant, with enough people rebelling against the queen, the queen herself could be executed instead." The boy tchs and says, "Whatever ..." Grim asks, "Name's Ace. Ace Trappola. A fresh-faced first-year." He gives a friendly smile that makes me even more uncomfortable. "Nice to meet'cha."
