Evette Monroe is an enigma.
She was the Queen of Nevermore Academy until everything came crashing down on her after Enid Sinclair pushed out a misconstrued article about her on her gossip–blog. Like wildfire, everything and everyone at the academy turned a cold shoulder to her.
Having both psychokinesis and elemental manipulation abilities meant that she had very little in common with her classmates. Eve had nowhere to fit in. She was too cold–blooded for the werewolves, too warm–blooded for the vampires and far too pessimistic for the sirens.
Eve managed go grow accustomed to the loneliness until Xavier Thorpe sat beside her in Ms. Thornhill's class.
The boy expressed his desperation to lose the attention of his ex–girlfriend and Evette shared her desire to rightfully reclaim her old status. After a stroke of genius, Evette proposed a perfectly imperfect plan: they would fake date in order to achieve what they wanted.
As their "relationship" progressed, their most important rule of not blurring the line between their fake relationship and their actual relationship became very difficult to follow. With uncertainty rising, they decided to ignore their feelings for each other as if they never existed in the first place.
All Xavier Thorpe and Evette Monroe are to each other is a sweet nothing... for now.
