Finally, after much walking later, they found the Team Rocket base where they keep all the Pokémon held captive. now all that is left is to devise a plan on how to approach. Bulbasaur thought that it will be better to go in blazing and loud. they need a first strike advantage he argues, but Jackson reminds him that they are a three person army against probably hundreds.
The Bellossom on the other hand thinks sneaking in is the better option. arguing they can't take on the whole base, instead they should destroy it in the inside without them knowing. that would result in an automatic defeat! Jackson is worried that they will get overwhelmed as soon as they are caught.
both options seem pretty good on paper, but this is a high stakes situation, failure is not an option. "If we fight everybody fast enough, we wont get overwhelmed" Bulbasaur claims. "they can easily overpower us" Bellossom responds "if we sneak, we don't have to fight at all! we can just do what we have to do with no confrontation!". after much back and forth, they agree on a middle ground. they will start with the sneaking plan, but as soon as they are spotted they will brute force their way though everything. they agree on the plan.
they begin their journey sneaking around the edge of the the base and entering though a small piece of broken wall by the side of the compound, the whole place seems pretty old, almost like a temporary base made permanent. now that they are in, they slowly move to the nearest entrance, all while dodging TR grunts. there are some cars and trucks parked around they can use as cover.
they mainly prefer to stick to the wall so they don't have too many blind spots too look after. as they are looking for a entrance, Jack and the Pokémon got to see how Team Rocket operate, trucks come in with freshly caught Pokémon and get separated to their respective gender. since they put them to sleep, a struggle is rare. then finally, they get transferred to a final location, he already knows how their fate turns out from there.
he decides to follow one of those guys carrying in the Pokémon until he went though the door. at this point, Jack reminds them that once they enter that door, there is no going back, whatever happens in there could be their end. Bulbasaur and Bellossom are still undeterred, even at the face of certain doom. Jack nods and they make their way to the door, into the unknown.
Once they got in there, the hallways resemble one of a abandon dark hospital with double doors in between and a dirty white floor with dirt and blood among other things. they found a map of the area not to far from where they are from. they attempt to find where they are and most importantly, where the Pokémon are being held. they eventually found that they are located in the eastern part of the facility.
armed with this information, they quickly (but quietly) make their way to the eastern part of the building. on their way there, Jack hopes that it isn't too late, who knows how long he took to get there. "how long was I out for" was a question that bothered him for a while and it will be answered the moment he gets there.
however, that answer will have to wait because he did not notice a TR grunt noticed him. even the Pokémon did not notice him at first, the black shirt really makes them blend with the wall. when they heard the alarms go off, they immediately sprung into action, taking out the grunt that set off the alarm in the first place and a few first responders.
after that, they ran as fast as they could to find the the breeding chamber as fast as possible but they are taking sharp turns with no real thought so it takes them a while. during their little rush, they felt the ground shake followed by a loud crash with somebody yelling "ESCAPES!!".
"Great!" Jack thought "that means some Pokémon probably escaped!" but he can't be certain until he sees it himself, no Pokémon left behind, just to be sure.
Eventually, they find a door with a sigh saying "control room". they burst in and take out the grunts before they knew what was happening. Jack immediately locks the door behind them so no grunt can come through. now he has control to the chamber.
first order of business is to unlock the cages, simple enough... or it should be, he doesn't know what the buttons do and they all look the same. he just opted to press every button he could which does unlock the cages, but also caused so many errors that it activated self destruct. that was part of the plan but it came sooner that expected...
