I'm on my fourth shot, and I think third drink when Violet grabs my hand to pull me from my seat.
"Oh no." I mumble when I hear Cherry Pie start to play over the speakers.
I quickly glance around and notice almost everyone over the age of fifty has left for the night, leaving all of the cousins, my parents, and a few cool aunts and uncles to keep the party going. My parents have been too wrapped up in each other all night to pay any attention. Which I'm trying not to think about, but honestly, thank god, because I know Violet is not going to behave.
She kicked her heels off about an hour ago, leaving them discarded under our table with Mia's. I let her lead me to the dance floor, watching her ass jiggle in her dress the whole way. I spin her to face me when we are submerged in a crowd of people and slip one of my legs between hers. I splay my hand across her back and press her into me.
She grabs my wrists and moves my hands down her body to her hips, letting me guide her to grind against me. Her dress is bunched around the top of her thighs, allowing me more access between her legs and I take full advantage, pressing my thigh up against her.
She gasps and grips my biceps, shooting me a warning look and I just grin back at her. She spins around and presses her ass against me, grinding into me to the beat of the song. The strap of her dress falls down her shoulder, threatening to reveal too much of her, and I quickly spin her to face me again. She glances down when I put the fabric back into place and smiles wickedly up at me.
"Don't look at me like that." I chuckle and grab the back of her neck, forcing her closer. "This dress is sexy enough. What's underneath is just for me."
She reaches up and pulls the strap down again, just to spite me. The top of her strapless, lace bra pokes out and I have to reign in my possessiveness when she pulls the other one down as well, testing me.
"You know...your cousins are very handsome." She teases, looking directly into my eyes. "What was that tall one's name? Henry?"
I raise my eyebrows at her. Of course she remembers his name. Henry and I have always been told we look like brothers. The main differences being he's two inches taller than me and his hair is more blonde. I can't say I'm surprised she noticed him.
I slide my thumb from the back of her neck around to cover her throat and pull her so close our lips almost touch. I feel her gulp under my touch, probably regretting her words a little, but she doesn't show any signs of backing down.
"Now you're making me jealous." I mumble, closing the gap between us when I pull her closer by her neck. I kiss her top lip gently before sinking my teeth into the bottom one and she gasps when I release my grip on her. "I need another drink if you're going to act like this."
Pushing my buttons is exactly what she wants to do, and fuck, is she good at it. I don't even think Henry is here anymore, someone said he left with one of the bridesmaids. Yet, her comment about him is still getting me worked up.
When we reach our table, I'm displeased to find there's not another round of drinks waiting for us. I tipped the bartender extra to keep them coming. I grab my half empty whiskey glass from earlier and down the rest of it while we wait.
I feel small hands slide around my waist and smile when Violet tugs at my suit jacket, hinting for me to take it off.
"I'm not drunk enough yet for you to get me naked right here, right now." I tell her, shrugging my jacket from my shoulders and drape it on my chair.
"Well, thank God our drinks are coming." She says, slurring her words slightly.
I smile and look up to see where they are, but it's quickly wiped from my face. I lock eyes with Sara holding the drink tray and quickly turn to face Violet. The look on her face tells me she's been watching Vi and I all night, and she has something to say about it.
